50 000 migrants storm Spain through its African territory Ceuta

Pretty wild situation, the latest escalation in Europe's refugee crisis. Except these aren't really refugees, these are apparently people organized by the government of Morocco/Israel(just from what I've read, nothing official confirming it) to pressure Spain and the EU due to Spain making a deal with Algeria to cut oil transfer from going through Morocco as well as taking advantage of a Spain Supreme court passed last month that prevents Spain from kicking out migrants that come by sea. Moroccan border security intentionally relaxing checkpoints has been confirmed. 

Pretty tragic situation especially for the residents of Ceuta which are basically getting invaded and left with struggle to access food as their cities are well invaded. We have a lot of liberals and left wingers on this forum who will perhaps automatically side with the migrants but keep in mind there are no jobs nor resources on Ceuta to attomodate these people, even the Spanish and overall European economy is struggling. This leads to nothing but pressure on well meaning Spanish and European politician to escalate the use of force in dealing with these migrants otherwise it leads to anarchy.

I do feel bad for the people being pushed towards doing this but it's not a good solution for them. The Moroccan government should prioritize vocational training and a business education for it's youth. Moroccan king Mohammed VI and prime minister Aziz Akhannouch should personally answer for this and help the moroccan youth figure their shit out. You're the king my guy use your title and status for a reason otherwise the next place they storm should be his house.

The situation is crazy right now, for a population of 84k aprox, more than 50k rushing into the city is an emergency. Some people in Spain are calling it an invasion, it's not technically that, but it could be viewed in that fashion. Some strong decisions have to be made, but current gov is left party so I'm doubtful they'll make such a call, again something has to be done otherwise there's gonna be a critical escalation regionally, nationally and internationally.

We rightly bang on about how important socialisation is. For example, teaching guys and girls healthy belief systems growing up. But then try to somehow act like the fact that someone who you've not had any chance to socialise isn't going to pose some serious risks.

It's like a soft invasion. It's not meant as hostile but for the people living there it must feel like one which is why I linked the Reddit thread where a woman was talking it from her perspective experiencing it.

I'm left wing as well but we can't be ignorant to realities. If we don't follow due process we end up with violent anarchy soon enough. Those dudes seem to be willingly going back home but humans are humans. Give them no food for a few days and access to weapons and they will kill their own people and take their house soon enough. Let alone the ones they see as colonial occupiers like the residents of Ceuta and Melilla. Even though those countries have been a part of Spain for hundreds of years before Morocco was a country.

So I’m seeing reports that all of this was orchestrated by the Moroccan state on behalf of Israel, who are pissed that Spain has taken a hardline stance against Israel and their ethnic cleansing of Palestinians over the last couple of years.

Now a bunch of Israeli accounts on Twitter are coming out of the woodworks calling for Spain to “decolonize” Ceuta and to give over half of their European land to Morocco as some sort of “gotcha” against Spain for their “hypocrisy.”

Can’t the Israelis see how fucking insane this is? Trying to play into anti-imperialist rhetoric to score international brownie points whilst flattening Gaza, killing West Bank Palestinians and turning southern Lebanon and Iran into nightmare warzones is UTTERLY insane. Israel is a fucking rabid dog and needs to be go for the sake of sanity to survive on this planet.

What an utterly bankrupt, perverse, hypocritical and destructive malignant entity Israel is. Just an awful country in every sense of the word. These people are unhinged.
