Clav possesses all of the dark triad traits like Owen(that is what gets him laid, not his plastic face). I don’t agree that just going out gets you laid. I know guys who go out all the time and don’t get any. You need dark triad traits.

You're contradicting yourself; if Clavicular has the Dark Triad traits and doesn't get laid even though he's handsome then the Dark Triad isn't effective. 

He managed to get girls in the US  because he's famous or simply because he pays them (that's my conspiracy theory) but the moment he lands in France he just comes across as mentally ill.

At the end you have to play with the toys gods have given to you. Owen doesn't have the looks so he does dark triad game. And Clav doesn't have social skills so he does dark triad game. You can tell them to stop being weird and stop being in the dark triad but that would make them sexless and suicidal. Only if you are somewhat cute, somewhat not weird like having no autism, somewhat tall and have some personality you are allowed to have light triad game.

I know that but I think it's also pretty cringe how 40+ year old Owen doesn't have any backbone of values / principles and collabs with a 18 year old fool that hits himself with a hammer

It's especially disappointing since Owen had a period where he was trying to do something more deep and philosophical.

Also, I think all those "friends" that you hang out with rub off of you, even if you think to yourself that you are just pretending.
