Thinking you can manifest a state quickly and easily.

It is hard to judge psychedelics if you haven't done them.

But you don't have to do them to know when you take them you want to get to a state fast.  I'm not debating their authenticity.   But I don't view meditation as a shortcut.  With psychedelics it could be.  Meditation isnt going to happen until you are ready..imo that's where they differ.

I didn't mean this harshly.  But psychedelics are one of those things where nothing is like it.  I try to stay away from this topic, but it really should not be avoided.  I understand that there is a concern about misuse and so on.  I am sensitive to this.  To be truthful to my path, psychedelics were important.

Supplement culture or whatever has gotten out of hand. People take stuff they don't know the first thing about then think their subjective measurements prove or disprove it. You can't measure this stuff without a serious medical project.

What if this is just fascination + identity + seriousness being inflated into universal importance?

I know you didn't but I'm glad you know my history.  However like I said I'm not debating whether or not they can awaken you.  I'm debating whether a more traditional path such as meditation might allow someone to awaken at the right time in their life when they are mature enough and grounded enough to be able to handle the deep truths that are revealed with awakening and thus integrate them.  That's the problem I guess I have with taking drugs to enlighten you.  You have to be heavily screened.  No one needs to screen someone who meditates.

The issue is you haven't had the direct experience of the psychedelics to judge this.

I don't see where that is relevant.  I see your point that if psychedelics awaken you then you are truly ready and it was God's intention.   But then why do we have all these lost souls.

What is a lost soul?

@Joseph Maynor in other words awakening to Truth should have fixed everything.  Everything.   It is omniscience.   So why did it not.

Some of this has to be attributed to mental illness, although I am not qualified to judge that.

Awakening should have fixed everything and cured everything and yet it didn't.   Why is that.  Omniscience happened did it not?

I can only conclude that he was not fully enlightened.  He was deceived. And Leo has been right about everything.  As usual. Otherwise he would be here today, talking to us.  Its just so crazy and I guess @Leo Gura that's the bipolar part because he seemed so awake at times

He may have had mental illness unfortunately.

The actor shtick is an alibi. It's a way of avoiding responsibility or worry from others. That's why he awkwardly mentioned it and inserted "behind the scenes" in all his videos lol. You think he coincidentally started saying that after his trips?

People who are paranoid about others coming after them or checking up on them often claim to simply be acting, so that no one worries about it or takes down the video. Schizophrenics or paranoid types often claim to be acting. It's hard to prove or disprove.

It's pretty clear to me that he didn't trust anyone with his true intentions or beliefs, hence all the lying and claims of being an actor.

But there was something genuine in the awakenings.  Surely you could see that.
