Clav is already really good looking. Way more than most guys. The looksmaxxing ideology he's bought into, hook, line and sinker, is a kind of doomerism. You don't smoke meth and do deep fried home surgery on your self without an obsessive degree of anxiety. I actually feel kind of sorry for him, because he clearly selling himself short, at least on a mental spiritual level.

Regular ass Tony Robbins style self-help would set him straight. If he only picked up a book instead of browsing incel forums. Even a bible would have been better. Too bad he's audience captured af. Someone with confidence would debate or would need to show off especially in Paris where people are lot more rigid in there thinking than other worldwide cities

I wasn’t writing a book with every layer of nuance. The core point was still right: confidence is coded differently in France.

I never said French people hate confident people. I said that what often passes as confidence in the US can look vulgar, arrogant, or socially tone-deaf in France.

When I used “debate,” I meant being able to defend your point if you make one, not constantly arguing for the sake of it.

Also, your last sentence contradicts what you said before. I assume you forgot the negative, but that changes the whole meaning.

I think that's true french people like to debate and talk a lot more. The french language is meant to be a more poetic version than english so they value their literacy. 

The underlying structures of attraction work the same. The reason I said to start in french for a hook/opener even if your french sucks and you Chatgpd a few sentences is to benefit from the ingroup bias. Then you ask to switch in english and then they will probably oblige to be polite and then start qualifying to you because their english is not that good so now you are both someone they feel familiar with but that they wanna impress subconsciously within 60 seconds of interaction.

That is a good tactic of course but i feel that is game is bad, so using this tactic will buy him 10 sec yes but he will get blow out right after that, the tactics won't save his game 

To take back your analogy 

It is like you are giving an opening move of  a 3000 elo chess to a newbie of 500 elo 

Assuming you do the opening good it will make him the game even harder cause he don't have any basics to make good use of this strategy 

And in the case of clav even using your strategy i am almost sure he will still can get blown out, he is not confident enought, not reassuring enought, not chill enought not smiling enought, not funny enought not creative enought
