I’m asking this because I have sober awakenings about every 3 weeks (give or take)—usually induced by thinking about reality or nothing at all. I’m trying to get a sense of how common this is, and how it relates to others’ experiences.

It's pretty much ongoing with intermittent phases of mundanity.

But I cultivate that consciously and it works.

What do you mean when you say “awakening” ? It’s not so clear to me what people mean always, and it seems people use the word differently

The lucid dream moment in this reality I would imagine.o.O

Just like in the dream you just get it with no apparent cause and effect.

Could be wrong tho.

If I'm sitting in a meeting or I'm simply interacting with someone and I'm expected to listen, show that I'm paying attention and not talk or do anything actively (simply "being present"), or watching a movie especially in a cinema, and sometimes sitting in lectures, that's the most common occurence.

It seems good analogy because it pertains to “waking up” but it’s still vague what it means “lucid”.

A clear sign is my mind operating in completely new ways. Like a knob in my brain that’s been offline suddenly goes online. Like tapping into a foreign language out of the blue and, in a flash, you intuitively understand it. It blows my mind. When I awaken, I no longer experience separate things that are other than me. They recontextualize and are experienced as different facets or aspects of the One. That’s what that cliche is pointing to, “It’s all One”. It’s really weird and difficult to put into words. The experience is really out of this world, so to speak.
