The gigantic problem is that what wants to manifest something is the ego; and the nature of the ego is reactive.

I want to manifest being forever young, it means I should be in denial about how old I am and any signs of aging, a lot of people are in denial about how old they are but are still aging

To manifest winning the lottery is in itself contradictory because a lottery is precisely designed to make you loose. Lottery is the manifestation of something that makes you always loose. Someone manifested a way of making money in which everyone else looses except for one lucky person and thus the lottery was born. And all the hype of the lottery is part of the design. Getting angry because you don't win the lottery is child-like level of crying, do you see that?

I don’t necessarily want to win the lottery, I just gave it as an example because most people want to manifest material things like fancy cars or beautiful houses, etc. I simply think they could obtain most of those things by working hard, starting a business, or similar efforts until they can afford them, instead of relying solely on so called manifestation techniques.

It is not easy, that's why aligning with your values is important. Envisioning something that you love is easy, it should come effortlesly. That's the core of it. This is the basis of your life. If you love your family and you envision yourself visiting them for dinner then you're porbably end up texting them and arranging a dinner. It becomes effortless. 

But when you're in a desperate position is easy to miss this point and your pursuits become corrupt and devoid of soul. Which can in turn become harmful. Then you're gonna be forced to manifest something different.

Manifest a technique that works for you.
