I don't think anyone understands one another from what I read.

What people want to prove is getting in the way of real listening (not you necessarily, just in general).

I'm not saying Leo didn't make any mistakes in the way that he handled disagreements.

What I'm saying is that most of the focus here has been placed on just that, ie how disagreements were handled.

From what I can tell there wasn't that much focus on the actual context of the disagreements.

Which pretty much seems to be: nonduality vs God realization (dating all the way back to the days of Nahm)

As a personal example: Recently I really got into radical nonduality, especially the work of Jim Newman.

For me it really feels like a big opening of Grace is happening that will take me all the way.

Leo told me in no uncertain terms: "It's just not the Full Monty."

Now, it might take me all the way, it might not. I'm still open to learning, and I still do learn from Leo.

Am I now going to fight Leo on this specific topic. What would be the point ? 

Just follow ur own resonance at the time. 

It's kinda simple really.

You don't think the actual context (nonduality vs God realization) of most of the original disagreements, was slightly overlooked here ?

I don't know if this specifically applies to him but I've noticed that a lot of people in the personal development space especially those who talk a lot about masculinity actually can't handle being contradicted.

Since they have a delirium about appearing virile without actually being particularly so they cannot simply admit that something has hurt them; if it does hurt it is your fault, and so they will get angry and eventually punish you , without even being able to pinpoint exactly what the issue is.

If you don't like the question at the source of the discussion as applied to this place, ask yourself why that is.

If you have something to prove you will never truly listen, take in or understand what another person is presenting.

Seeking validity is a root cause of this - and we emotionally pick which domain we want validity based on our values.

I think these types value their perceived masculinity - so they play the part of the "Prover". And they attempt to wield logic, rationality and thought as methods to avoid contradiction. It is really the emotion that wants to avoid contradiction, as it is the emotion that is the motivator.
