Why do you assume i know?

What is it that you know?

Great observation.  You already Know, so why do you ask?

I know about as much as a lobotomized fish. Flopping seems to be all thats left of me.

Perhaps gasping for whatever is left. Nothing.

That's a thought story you're telling and tolling Yourself.

All finite perspectives are full of it to a degree that cannot be totally absolved, all you have to do is observe.  This is not a bug, this is a feature.

Still puzzles me how he cannot see that Oneness/Unity is Love.

This is the single most important ontological insight ever. How he misses boggles my mind.

I haven't truly had a full on Love awakening either but I have had enough to know it's definitely there. But this is why I can relate with Ralston and understand why he sees it this way.

Love is like a completely different dimension of awakening. Imagine the x, y, z coordinates to be the mind, heart and gut. It's possible for all your awakenings to be somewhere along the mind - gut plane but never move along in the heart dimension.

Love is like that snapping turtle right there in your face about to eat you every time you awaken but because you are so blind you miss it.

What exactly?

Observation?

Or distraction?

People are telling you what their concerns are.

Gasping for water

Some things are not undoable. A hook sunk in, its barb, stuck deep

Unless our catcher is kind enough to unhook us and let us swim free?

Coy

The word comes from the Latin quietus (meaning quiet or still), highlighting that being coy is a form of being "quiet by design".

A good sting will wake anyone up

Words

Sharp as a blade

Think you could unhook us?

Put some pretty words in there?

Make us think higher of ourselves.

Put the best words you can come up with!

Think you could pull it off?

@Joseph Maynor

I don't know why you're offended by anything I said.

Well, I don't know how bad yours is, but I never said that disqualifies you from psychedelics.

OCD is a strange condition which I don't know how it mixes with psychedelics.

Perhaps someone here who has OCD and has done psychedelics can chime in.

I have pure Ocd (No Compulsions) and have tripped over 100 times. Ive done Dmt, Lsd, Shrooms, mdma, and salvia.

OCD is like this constant beam of focus and obsession towards having a perfect metaphysical and epistemic understanding.

Like @Inliytened1 its doubt, i have must have pure certainty and understanding of whats absolutely true. And eliminating that doubt with more and more conciousness is the methodology.

But the doubt eventually comes full circle and eats its own tail into Absolute Truth / Certainty / Being

The one thing you can not doubt is your own being which is Absolute.

You basically doubt the ego to death

People with OCD can realize it but oftentimes they do not.

Needing everyone to agree with you is kind of an OCD.

This feels more like validation then ocd.

A desire for approval instead psychological certainty.

Maybe Ralston's mind has ossified with age. It happens to the best of us. Only human.

Can't transend biology....

I perceive he wants a clean distinction between love and infinity due to the human, relative perception of love, and it's loaded connotations.

It's all nameless in the end.

Anyway LOVE you all!!! Girly giggles of love! Thanks for existing :x

Speak your mind.  Let's have a full discussion.

But the issue here is most people completely misunderstand emotions and feeling and intuition.

Id say all of these issues are 2nd order to the first order issue of misunderstanding conciousness. If you get conciousness right you get everything else right.

@JoshB do you think your thoughts/drive toward certainty are the compulsion, while the topic is the obsession?

@Leo Gura Do you think the possibility exists Ralston is heavily compartmentalizing his feeling / emotional capacity & expression purposely?

It seems strange to not be aware of emotions and feelings. If they are ignored or repressed, we run the risk of them governing our thoughts (and bias) in ways that aren't transparent. Regardless of Ralston's communication topics, he is often transmitting frustration, aggression and frustration in his expression. He does occasionally miss identifying limitation in others and continually underestimates his natural ability. It doesn't need to be called out (that someone is limited) but it genuinely appears to be pain point for him; how often do we see him incredulous that others do not " get it ". And then he vomits out a rant punctuated by frustration.

I've seen people who repress or are unconcious to feelings / emotional affect be very close to becoming charged up and triggered. Emotional energy resides just under the the surface. If Ralston is doing any of this, Love as a concept could be a blind spot. Repressed. Overlooked. Discarded as nothing but human fantasy.

Anyway just some random musings. We only have what he chooses to show / expound on, to work with.

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

Im not quite sure what you're asking. If you rephrase I could answer. But my deepest compulsion and desire is realizing im completely alone / solipsism at the deepest level.

I became God concious at 19 and the entire reality and sense of other completely vanished.
