how to access higher levels of intelligence?

6 posts in this topic

In your opinion, is this idea true @Leo Gura? :

"the more you develop vertically, while constantly working on your epistemic attitude and responsibility, the more you access/allow higher levels of intelligence"  (developmental models)

if not, what can be considered a rule or a litmus test?

Ting means listening in chinese and you can use ting to listen internally, or externally. There are levels of ting. What you can listen into.

Practicing Ting could help.

In the physical realm, fixing your metabolic health is an underappreciated step. Psychotherapy, IFS, Heavy Metal Detox among others.

I am less in tune with the spiritual realm at the moment, but meditation and celibacy (with balance, and transmutation) has been a banger when I was doing it consistently.

EDIT: Detaching from stimulating technology that occupies your mind, embracing boredom is another one.

There isn't one. The trap is thinking that intelligence is a one-dimensional thing that you can put a number against. There's also quite a blury line between knowledge and skill, and whether you consider those two things intelligence too. Are insight and creativity intelligence also? What about physical intelligence versus mental intelligence?

Gaining knowledge and improving skill can clearly be done by anyone. Insight largely comes from deep domain knowledge and/or skill. Creativity can come from mastery of a thing.

The idea that you can somehow download or access intelligence is the wrong way to think about it. If you want to improve intelligence, then you have to practise and learn on all fronts.

The future can be real. The future can be again.
