The problem with much of Green is that it can be so performative. Not embodied. It's like a cloak one wears to look cool in front of friends. That's the self-deception of it. It makes you feel like you're more evolved than you are, and that feels so good.

I agree. Especially if someone doesn't have sexual abundance.

This is imputing a lot of motive on a class of people instead of actual individuals.

I mean, yeah he is suffering. I feel bad for anyones suffering.

But his behaviour is to be rebuked.

I'll always laugh my arse off at the hubris and arrogance of someone who is so stupid they honestly think they can fool anyone with such an act!

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

How is he an act any different than anyone else?  I feel like there's a need sometimes to put down another to elevate anyone's own imperfect ego from criticism.

The act (in this context!!!!!) is operating outside integrity - he doesn't believe any of the new beliefs he is trying on for size. His actions and his inner world do not align. He merely adopts them as a virtue signal, or 'get out of jail' free card. They are farces that will be thrown away if they do not serve a use or purpose.

Perhaps a jury with sympathise.

I agree. Human behaviour tends toward lifting people up just to watch them fall.

He has fallen into the trap of too much self-justifying.

It is a bad idea to justify yourself and your mistakes so much. It's a devious trap.

Admit you made a mistake and then stop justifying yourself.

I literally was watching this yesterday… it’s so ironic that this guy was so anti woke anti establishment, saying the elite are sick and after kids etc. then he supports Trump… Epstein’s best friend and of course is sleeping with a 16 yo when he’s 30….

I feel really bad when I see demonizing people because it's been done to me.  And not fairly.  I've had this kind of treatment happen to me.

I get where you're coming from. But classes of people often have generally shared motives. Or at least sub-classes of a general class do.

But you need to get to know someone in person.  This is the problem with all this online stuff.

I think the reaction to his behavior is appropriate.

I don’t believe anyone is innately bad nor do I think my value is higher than any one person.

Every person is innately valuable and worthy of love.

You can judge the behavior and recognize it is unaligned with spirit and dishonest.

Anyone can admit their mistakes. But that’s just meaningless after the action has already happened, it’s not like immediate actions could have actioned any different, if they could then no one alive would ever make a mistake.

Humans are all faking it. If we could all read each other’s minds, we’d all be revealed our real true colours, and that would be embarrassing.

You can only chastise yourself, not others.

I don’t might. I am absolutely 💯 certain I feel this way.

The issue is not that he did something bad. That is fine. The issue is how easily he bullshits about it, how he spins it, and how he cloaks himself in spirituality.

Spirituality is not to be used for such purposes. Leave your Bible at home when you go to your rape trial.
