So emotionally most people can understand and empathize with the teacher and even can be rooting for the teacher.

But statistically violence teaches violence.

There is a inner drive to want to harm others is built into everyone. The "punishment" desire is real, and deeply routed.

This is what liberals dont understand about the world, that people yearn for violence deep down. People want to harm others that cross them, and harm does they dont like.

Most poeple want to harm everyone they dont like. They fantasize about harming people all the time.

This is a low conscious way of viewing the world. Stage red favors retribution as a means of justice. Stage blue looks down on revenge, but still favors punishment. That teacher was no higher than stage blue.

I don't sympathize with this teacher at all, no more than the white teacher who was screaming at her (entirely black) class for apparently failing. She said, "GET AN EDUCATION. BUT YOU WANT TO BE A BROKE ASS N***ER WHO IS GONNA GET SHOT". She didn't choke anyone but she said the n-word with a hard-R.

if you are in an abusive situation do you not eventually have to stand up for yourself and fight or leave? Nothing to do with the example you gave or about seeking revenge. I have been in abusive work situation for 2 years aprox now. Behind the scenes I have been working hard with higher ups to expose and shine light on bad behaviour of said individuals. Not because I want revenge, but because I want change and I don't want to have to leave my job. In my view it's a very thin line you have to walk at higher levels and having integrity in very difficult real world situations of abuse.

I reject violence but I also understand the best way to avoid violence is to not give people a reason to harm you.

It’s why I don’t really give a fuck about 9/11. Do I think Osama bin Laden was a great guy? Obviously not, he was an insane Wahhabi jihadist, but he also had a point that America was (and frankly still is) waving its dick around and killing people needlessly in the Middle East. 9/11 pales in comparison the innocent blood America has shed in Muslim countries, yet most Americans couldn’t sleep easier despite all this.
 

If you want peace, live peacefully. This of course applies to the teacher too, dude should be fired for what he did, but the kid should also learn that running your mouth is a bad way to live with other people. Maybe we just gotta stop antagonising each other in general.
