Have empathy for Pedophiles

Sex is incredibly pleasurable; it’s no wonder so many become pedophiles. And to those of you who think being a pedophile and raping children is the worst thing imaginable, you truly have a low level of consciousness. I have never understood how so many are disgusted by this and see it as more immoral than when a cartel cuts someone’s head off alive. You are not enlightened; you have not reached the level of consciousness that I have. I have a lot of empathy for pedophiles, but apparently, that makes me bad according to society. Imagine that sex is like the ring in The Lord of the Rings. The temptation the ring offers is exactly the same temptation that sex does, consent or not. So how the hell can you get angry when such a powerful force exists? You all are genuinely stupid in the head, in my opinion.

So does emathy mean you accept harmful behaviour? Of course you can habe empathy for pedophiles, modt pedophiles actually dont act on their urges. I have epathy for that. You even can habe empathy for someone who acts on their urges but what you are doing is excusing it.

Everyone is a pedophile to a degree; I happen to be someone who can admit it. I mean, you can lie as much as you want, but I know everyone has, at some point, wanted to have sex with a minor. Ofcourse, you can get angry if pedophiles do harmful things, but you have to see it as stealing candy from a friend. The problem is that you have put so much weight on pedophiles thanks to society, but actually, it's not that dangerous.

As long as they don't act on their impulses, empathy is important. You need to separate between the person and their urges.

This may be true to some degree but it can be harmful to a victim's mental health especially if very young. This is why law set age limits for consent, though even then, 16 year old can still be mentally vulnerable.

I hate pedophiles not just for the crimes but how they create so much distrust and paranoia in society. I also wonder if there are any theories on how they keep ending up in positions of influence.

Sympathy, not empathy. It's kind of a curse because it does make your life significantly harder I think compared to if you just liked women.

@Rafael Thundercat Nobody can choose their brain and genetics. They have to go through a complex therapeutic process to help them manage their lives as normally as possible without acting on their desires, or if possible to redirect their desires in a way that is legal and won't harm others.
