Mansour al-Hallaj, the Highest Baseline Consciousness in Human History?

11 posts in this topic

This Sufi mystic might be one of the craziest one's out there. The guy was so integrous and authentic in his realization that he didn't care for his well-being or safety. He was willing to get dismembered, torn apart and chopped to pieces if that meant he truly being himself and living his truth. Now, do you have that in you? He wasn't playing games, no cunningness, calculation or survival. He was no more, only his realization remained. He reached a point where his was ecstatic 24/7, like far far gone.

Can you maintain your awakening if I cut your arm off? Will you scream in agony or will your laugh in ecstasy because you know you are not that and you are cutting yourself?

Are you so intoxicated with reality that you will laugh even if I cut your hands and feet? Will you go completly against the society and political order for God's sake, even knowing fully that you will get killed and tortured? How deep is your devotion to Reality?

Well, I think this Sufi mystic show that there are insane levels of consciousness possible in our baseline state that virtually nobody possess.

Sometimes a student goes too deep that you need a guru mechanic to re-install a "seed of ignorance" so that they can function in the world.

I believe Ramana Maharshi was in such a state at some point.

And a note about the video: it's interesting how he said he had to manually count the years back to see how old he was. It's like his Default Mode Network was so turned off that it did not have the automatic loop of "age" anymore and he had to use his tasking network to find it manually. I've said before that the non-dual state is essentially being in the tasking network so thoroughly that no self is to be found, and apparently, unless you make it a task to find it.

Al-Hallaj, "I am the truth," is the most direct mystic. His vision is absolutely open; he lives in total openness. He is absolute purity, unblemished clarity, the totality expressing itself as human.

Imagine:

Future humans create a history that Andrew Tate was a enlightened kickboxer who lived thousands of years ago on planet earth.

He created a philosophy that transformed generations of young man.

Oh Tate, my Lord🖐🏻😔🖐🏻

Damn, interesting didn`t heard about his experience before. Actually, heard very little about him. I don`t follow much western masters, nothing against them or anything though.

Yeah, he was really authentic. Really beautiful when someone achieves that and has the balls lol.

Watch his BATGAP interviews if you want to be absolutely blown away. The experiences he talks about makes all the ridiculous stories of saints throughout history sound plausible.

Al-Hallaj represents the non-separation between the totality and the human. He is more direct than Christ or Buddha. He is not like other Sufis; he doesn't use metaphors or proverbs, he is absolutely simple. Ana al haqq, I am the truth. That's everything that you need to know about him. He's not a person, is an openess.

In him, the absolute is perceived with a minimal structure for operation. Al-Hallaj lives as a necessary obligation; he is not in life, he is in that which is beyond life, what is impossible to say, the Tao, the totality.

He is not brave when he is tortured because he doesn't need to be brave; for him, death is nothing, he is death, disguised as life, which is merely a structure that traps him within an individual. When that structure falls, the totality is free, unlimited.
