I disagree with the forum

This is controversial territory but here it is:

The only thing to disagree with is people spending lots of time in the forum without doing the actual work. Of course I say this for myself. I can't really control what others do.

The environment gets too polluted otherwise.

It's just an opportunity for you to make a journal entry about what's important to you even though it may not be the majority's taste on the Actualized forum.

Breaking free from conformity means even doing things that may seem "conformist" for nonconformist reasons in a nonconformist style. Answers will vary, and I'm curious what y'all put.

I think this community is as healthy as a self-help community can be, but it still is limited by it's times. You just cannot create a healthy self-help community today. Maybe only with super-aggressive screening and paywalls, but even then you cannot be sure. You cannot create ANY healthy community focused on big stuff like spirituality/truth today, communities are about survival, ideology, power games, ego... not Truth. This is why serious philosophers do their work alone in silence, far away from the apes.

For me anything that involves more than 2 people (myself included) that has a higher purpose than basic tasks like collagues doing ape work at work or some buddies playing sports, any purpose that craves openmindedness, emotional maturity, ambition form others (creating deep friendships, philosophy, self-improvement) has a high chance to piss me off, make me lose patience. Because I have a very disagreeable personality and you simply cannot gather too many serious, conscious people together because they are so rare nowadays. This retarded society we have nowadays creates braindead people not truth seekers.

Seems like there's very little consensus here so it's hard to answer such a question, but... I strongly disagree with the red pill / manosphere / incel elements I see on this forum , and I'm basically certain that stuff will prevent both healthy relationships and serious consciousness work.

Both redpill/blackpill/incel ideolgy and post-modern nonsense prevent healthy relationships. And one triggers the other. The more post-modern nonsense you'll see in society the more women hate and redpill. Both these camps prevent men from developing into serious healthy adults. Women also, but especially men. 

People are not so stupid, they see every day through personal experience and andecdotal evidence that men and women are different. You come and tell thme it is not true and you'll get solid backlash. In any big movement there is some truth, big movements tell some truth, otherwise they would not become so big. Even though that "truth" can sometimes be very toxic. Germans chose Hitler because it told them the "truth" of how opressed germans were at that time. I hope this idea does not get misunderstood.

@Alexop @Leo Gura Yeah it's just the zeitgeist of the moment . No stopping it. I don't know what the solution is. But probably a good starting would be trying to find a community rather than an echo chamber. I've been rewatching the SD series ,  basically the solution is Green 

Of course that assumes willingness .

Many guys here are just struggling with Orange. Which is not wrong. Orange requires 5-10 years to master, at least.

Green can be especially conformist and echochambery. I invte you to meet Scandinavian people. At least those redpill movements I can understand because it is composed mostly of frustrated sexless kids, but I have higher expectations of highly educated mature people.

I hanged in many Green groups and I don't feel great there. It feels like I am walking on eggshells, you have to have the "right" opinions in order be welcomed. It depends what personality type you have. If you are very feminine and agreeable then they fit you well. But I cannot just stay an talk feelings and shit all day, not having a personality, not influencing the situation in any meaningul way, just being an emotional automaton.

Yeah I think I get some of what you mean. I've been involved in different types of green communities over the years. The rave scene, the meditation scene, the yoga scene, the kava bar scene (this is pretty big in Florida where I'm from). I've met people I could disagree with and people I couldn't , it just depends.

 

@Leo Gura Do you think though that they could benefit from incorporating some of the lessons of green while still trying to master orange? I see this in the new age / manifestation community. People using green to get to orange (which of course is backward of how the model predicts but that's what it looks like to me). Dr K seems to do this, he'll teach someone some yoga technique that'll help them make a million dollars.

Yes, if they are open and mature enough. But that's a big if.

There is low Orange and high Orange. Low Orange cannot hold Green, high Orange can. But like 50% of the population is low Orange.

@Alexop I've noticed myself censoring myself spiritually around my Green friends. I express maybe 20% of the insights I've had into reality and keep the rest to myself. A lot of my closest friends seemed worried when I told them about 5 meo. One of them told me I should really only do that with a shaman .
