When is enough drama really enough?

Many replies that focus on what or how I should do. Ok, got that. Doing the best to practice my equanimity, and it's getting better.

But with few exceptions, almost nobody picked up the question of the drama (conflicts, tensions, anger, violence, war, deseases, famine, climate change etc) in the world.

No matter how great my equanimity, this drama won't go aways, will it? You might say consciousness ("it") has to learn how to live peacefully, how to integrate etc.  But as of now, I just don't believe that. I rather believe it could stop it any moment but has other reasons to keep it up.

Maybe I'm wrong, and I obviously don't know, but I simply don't believe that it's " just happening" and there's no other way.

If you tell me that I could immediately stop if I only do XYZ, then it should also be able to do it on a global basis right?

Here are smart words that present my apparent identity but don't mean anything. At all.

We already gave you the absolute answer . You are never going to solve drama by starting drama about drama . You are posting in the spirituality section so we are giving you a spiritual absolutist type of answer ..we are not experts in economics or archeology or something.  The bottom line is you are the one and only source of drama in this world .if you look outside of yourself then sure people are a bunch assholes spewing endless nonsensical suffering stories on top of life ..always was ..always will be . The point is you don't have to engage in this bs .look inward .nothing is happening inside of you .extend the line ..nothing is happening inside anyone .anchor yourself in that inner silence. That place where all is well. Unless you enjoy drama.

So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

You talk about “drama” which I perceive as a petty thing, but you also talk about deep suffering which is more serious. They are two very different things although can overlap in ways.

Deep suffering is not a thing that can just be erased “like that”. If this were possible humans would have done it. Instead we see thousands of practices that attempt to erase it, but never quite get there. In fact the more one walks lovingly on such a path the more accepting and understanding they become of this fact.

Now to the best of my ability I’m going to answer what we are trying to distract ourselves from. From my understanding it’s a deep emptiness and a fear of death. Simply put. Where do you go from here? It’s tough, life keeps happening and you will (hopefully) grow older and have more experiences of a wide variety. I don’t think the ache ever goes away to be honest. Thankfully I found God and he’s my rock. But I still suffer like everyone else.
