There are no original people

I walk down the streets and observe closely different individuals. They are not original or genuine. It's like seeing walking archetypes, I can make psychic archaeology on them.

Their clothes, their haircut, their economical position or job, their religion, their way of talking or being. It just fits and conformed to certain roles and societal expectations. The world is just an enormous stage!

It's my understanding that one of the greatest joys of personal development is discovering, being and evolving your true human self. 

 

Note: I do conform and I'm expected to play some archetypes, we all do.

Doin this work is a privilege in many ways. People are barely surviving so they can feed themselves and their families and if they have trauma it is worse. Specially in the Middle East for example

I think it's both. I can see the archetypes @Davino talks about, but I also see the individuality. 

Yes, there's lasagna, and there's pizza and there's pasta. But also, there are infinite differences in the ingredients, in the composition of the food, in the way of cooking and in the way of eating it.

Not to mention that you can combine them in infinite ways to create something new. Have you tried my new lasizza?

My conclusions were that mind can go as granular or as encompassing as it wants. Meaning that mind can find the uniqueness of every person, moment or fragment of reality OR mind can go in higher encompassing structures and categories. Mind can do both, it's a property. The ideal is to have a multilense mind, using one or the other to see and even using both at the same time.

Lovely insight.

Too often, we see only a fragment of a person and reduce them to a role, often one we place beneath ourselves. Framing it like that dampens curiosity and discourages looking deeper. Thus, we deny ourselves the chance to discover their full depth and to challenge the assumptions we made in the first place.

To be clear, I am not dismissing your original point. We are all shaped by our environments. Some people simply carry a persistent resistance to conformity, for better and for worse.

@Godhead Yes, and it also happens the other way around, which is the trap of actually thinking that everyone is so unique and special, when as a matter of fact, most people are just like survival zombies. They haven't done any work to discover and uncover their true self to develop it. They are just the juxtaposition of different societal archetypes, their own DNA and personality dispositions: being limited and playing within that juxtaposition frame. They are like a puppet of all these external forces. And of course, the end result of all these external forces, it is still unique, but it does not happen through a conscious and genuine process of unearthing their true self.

So that is the other side of the trap which you are pointing out. So it happens in both extremes. Just saying this to complete the most common traps in both lenses
