Is D&D a good hobby for Actualized standards?

10 posts in this topic

I'm about to get into it. It has a lot of things my personality would enjoy like fantasy elements, extensive creativity, socialization, acting, etc.

Good hobby? Or should I get something more focused on skill building

Why would you have to probe whether or not it's a good hobby here? If you enjoy it then go for it.

I would say everything that you truly enjoy is worth pursuing as long as it not gets addictive or damaging. Cultivate your love for life in your unique way.

The mindset that everyting that you do should be furthering your self-development or have some utilitarian benefit can be a huge trap of personal-development.
