When we're focused on Truth, we're serious.  But we're not serious all of the time, only a fraction of the time.  So we balance btw. seriousness with humor is an offset to seriousness.  In fact,, someone too serious is insufferable.

I also have the feeling that you're a good guy. Kudos for doing the videos and expressing yourself. You got me sentimental when you said "Doing the video not from a perspective of beauty or truth, but love. I think what a lot of people are missing is love, actually".

My videos are awful but I made them and I don't have any shame about it.  I try not to make this about me.  But I've struggled to have a voice that is not total bullshit or avatarish in this format and I have to admit it has been a struggle.

I thought: awesome, there's a guy that just takes a headset, puts himself in front of a camera and just talks from his heart. Just does it. Without all the superficiality that so many content producers show, without the need for superiority, without the need to prove to others what an awesome person he is. Just doing it. 

Wished I could just do that like you.

Consciousness as a whole is Undefined, since there is nothing to define it with/against. So it defines itself, in other words it's whatever you define it to be. It's no coincidence that the more of a blanket term you apply to Consciousness, the more accurate it gets, hence we also call it Infinity, God, Nothingness, etc.; but words will fail rather quickly so you'll have to drop them. This will all seem like self-contradictory nonsense until you get very comfortable with twisted, paradoxical thinking, which is one of the abilities of higher consciousness. Doing so requires going beyond causation, reason, language, sanity... There awaits absolute logic that resolves all contradiction, as there is no contradiction in self-definition. A ∧ ¬A is not only perfectly consistent, but necessary.

'Conscious' and 'aware' can often be used interchangeably, but not always. For instance, you can be aware of all the gossip and scheming going on at your workplace, but that doesn't make you any more conscious; neither is an animal with spatial awareness several orders of magnitude better than human more conscious than you. One can even be aware that what they're doing is wrong, but not be conscious of why it is so. Consciousness is more like self-awareness, it is not contingent on surroundings, information, knowledge, sensations (as in Ibn Sina's floating man thought experiment); higher consciousness simply means raising your self-awareness until you're fully aware that you are reality itself. Becoming more loving, truthful, present, etc. are merely consequences of this realization. A person can be "made aware" (of something, like a fact), but cannot be made conscious, only be/become conscious, i.e. it's an act only you are capable of. I can bring to your awareness that Google search and everyone replying to this thread are projections of your mind that you're using to teach stuff to yourself; however this doesn't mean you'll be capable of accepting that, and even if you were, unless you become directly conscious of it, that'll just be a belief.

That's literally impossible.

Your own words are your own words.  Others words are not your words. 

You can say " I share view of XYZ" and expressed in own words that's "..."

I got that he was making that point. My Meta point is that one can be so dependent from others perspective and words that they avoid expressing themselves even if explicitly asked to do so.

@Entrepreneur Do you remember the first time in your life when you realized you are alive, that you exist? You lived for years before you became conscious that you exist.

That was a moment of higher consciousness.

Notice that most of the day you are not conscious that you exist. You just do stuff unconsciously on auto-pilot. Occassionally you stop and notice you exist.

Awakening is like that, but 100x more potent.

Notice you are less conscious when you are tired, sleepy, or feeling strong negative emotions like anger.

Higher consciousness is hyper sobriety and awareness of your own existence. Normies are like drunk by comparison to an Awake person.

If you just sit silently and train your attention on the fact that you exist, your consciousness increases gradually.
