The One And Only Absolute Truth.

So the fact of "the sky is blue" is not an absolute truth, because it can be other colours, cloudy, thundery etc.? But for example the fact I'm a male is an absolute truth, because I have never been anything else? Or does "absolute" apply to all potential future states as well as past ones?

Okay, but on this topic, in this thread, I will be referring 'only' to the absolute truth stated in the OP, that states the absolute truth is - 'I think therefore I Am' -  I am thinking therefore I exist.

(the sky is blue) is linguistics.

Fair enough. Isn't 'I think therefore I Am' also linguistics? It's written in words with a grammatical structure. Does linguistics make it any less absolutely true?

I think "absolute " means self-evident ..unquestionable..etc . We are past the point that we can verbally question anything . Is there unquestionable thing in actuality ?

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

Yes. You are experiencing things. Whether you are inside an alien program somewhere or in a dream is another matter.

But still, things are happening right now. You are Aware!

This is undeniable.

Thank you for your opinion. I'm honestly not sure .I can question even this but I don't want to sound like a smartass know it all . Obviously whe can deconstruct "you are experiencing things ".

Of course you can question, but notice that you are questioning. What is that? This moment that allows your questioning, what is it?

You can also question your question forever, doesnt mean you are right. Experience is. All questions happen within existence(whatever that is).

Why not? We could do with more smartassery and less parroting and unquestioning dogma.

Isn't truth itself just: self evident, unquestionable? What about the "absolute" bit, what is that exactly?

This is partially correct. The statement is saying you are nothing but a thought. This is true. But that's just the person who looks back at you from the mirror. You are also the supreme reality which has thought you and the universe into existence. So Rene Descartes only-half-smart. He just looked in the mirror and not into the void.
