The voice in our heads is our monkey mind, its gone wild for most of Us, combined with our strong identification with Ego/Intellect and things we are not, most of the population is in a sort of insanity that is socially accepted, because someone else is making money off of it!

Just focus on Your Breathing, Your Body sensations, what Your immediately observing, this will bring You back to reality and the Living Now, and with more practice of observing the monkey mind, you eventually gain space with it, what is You is observing what is not You (Body/Mind), with that comes silent and peace.. Try it out for a week consistently and see what happens!

Karma Means "Life is my Making", I am 100% responsible for my Inner Experience. -Sadhguru..."I don''t want Your Dreams to come True, I want something to come true for You beyond anything You could dream of!!" - Sadhguru

Nothing complicated here ..just some thoughts fighting with each other.

Judy doesn't exist.

“God is the Alpha Omega .. the beginning-less  beginning and the endless end .
He is the first without start . He is the last without end . He is the manifest actuality ..nothing covers him . He is the most hidden essence  ..nothing can grasp him .. nothing below him or more subtle than him .The ego is the belief I’m separate from god . Because being god is too good to be true .No matter how dark it gets or difficult it gets ..no matter how long it is going to take .. my destiny is the infinite happiness and infinite joy and love as the best thing ever ..God .  “

-that’s a me .

Well, what do you think your post is; just more thoughts.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

you're talking to Judy or to me ? Or we both don't exist and you're talking to yourself?

I haven't looked into this phenomenon, so I can't say much about it.

Still, it's interesting to examine, because it seems there are two "yous."

Who am I talking to? What is this dialogue?

Inner monologue is inevitable because the human mind operates through symbolism, and this is expressed through language. It is an essential function of the mind. The problem isn't the monologue itself, but the energy that drives it. If you manage to deactivate that energy, you can remove the emotional charge from the inner monologue and focus your perception at a deeper level.

Inner monologue is usually triggered by emotions like fear, rejection, anxiety, and identity issues. Trying to turn off the monologue by thinking it's the cause of these emotions is a mistake; it's the opposite, it's the consequence.

You have to deeply understand the root of these emotions and confront their underlying causes, and ultimately, look death in the face without filters. Then the emotional charge gradually loses intensity, and the monologue becomes manageable.

@UnbornTao i remember that Nahm used to point out the two mes/yous a lot.

I'm not familiar with the way he uses those terms, so I can't tell.

To me, it seems like it could be a sort of auditory imitation or conceptual representation of one's voice.

Analogously, it's a bit like placing a mirror in front of yourself - so that you can interact with a reflection (?)

Anyhow, might as well contemplate what its purpose is.

Sounds like all normal, everyday stuff. Congrats if you tried lsd for the first or second time there. And, yah, people do usually forget as, or feel as though... like, as if theyre conjuring or remembering something theyve forgotten, eccetera, regarding lsd.. Id concur that it would be a mistake to then "forget the forgotten". Like, things that are familiar~forgotten, are not meant to be forgotten, più di quanto lo siano stati, or anymore than they have been.
