Owning any apple product at all is peak conformity.

I couldn't agree more because apple is just too mainstream. Pure conformity.

Why can’t it be vegetables?

“Oh come on, it’s your birthday! Live a little!”

🤦

No — I literally would prefer to not eat the cake. It would take willpower for me to eat it. Get that trash out my face. *Slaps plate across the room with one hand* *slaps offerer of cake in the face with the other*

I’ll take the ice cream though.

Ice cream

Everything’s made up, and the points don’t matter.

Treating the adoption of a national identity as an awakening is peak conformity.

Identity based on survival can never be about awakening because it will always be false. Survival only offers pseudo-identity.

God is the true identity, because anything you experience is God itself!

Trinitarianism is such a conformity.

Both Trinitarianism and non-Trinitarianism are convoluted approaches and mental gymnastics obsessing over Jesus.

The interpretations of humans being the image of God are adopted because of conformity.

Regarding humans as having a special status for God is conformity.

I’m gonna argue we’re not conforming enough, at least in one area.

Gender-specific and color-specific emojis need to go.

Emojis are an expression of emotion. They don’t need demographic information. I’m not “shrugging and also btw I’m a man 🤷‍♂️🍆 ”. No — I’m just shrugging. 🤷

Emojis are meant to be abstractions. They should be amorphous little blobs that vaguely resemble humans. The classic smiley 🙂 struck a perfect balance. No, I don’t really look like that. I’m just letting you know that I’m smiling.

But now we need them to be JUST the right amount of abstract but also accurately depicting my specific instantiation of humanhood.

No. They’re not people. They’re emojis. They are their own thing. They should be clearly representative of human emotion but clearly not an actual human.

They don’t have genders. They don’t have races. They don’t have childhoods. Histories. Hopes and dreams. They’re little yellow blobs that communicate emotion. Let them be blobs.

We need different colored eggplants to reflect the true colors of our dicks.

Who has a purple dick?

You’re right. Every person should get their genitalia analyzed via some app and then perfectly reconstructed as an eggplant emoji. Or maybe we should allow for complete customization so you can send whatever you please. This does introduce possibility of misrepresentation, but that’s already a problem

Eggplants used to be white. Hence the egg.

Homosexuality is common amongst wild animals.

That thought comes from LGBT conformist groupthink. It is not common at all. Heterosexuality is by far the norm in mammalian species. Homosexual behaviors are only observed when there's a disruption in their natural way of living, aka trauma and unnatural living conditions and it's actually rare.

Another LGBT conformist thought is that "10% of the population is homosexual" or "1 out of every 10 man is homosexual." This is wrong. In fact, only 1 to 3% of the population experiences homosexual ideations and behaviors. There's a real world outside of the LGB bubble.

Another lie is that homosexual behavior is predetermined by genes. This is also wrong. Studies have been done on twin brothers. They share 100% of the genetic code and yet they'll both be homosexual only less than 50% of the time. Something like that. If homosexuality were genetically determined, twin brothers would have to BOTH be homosexual 100% of the time. A lot of other factors play a role like developmental factors, social factors, upbringing, personal choices, reinforcement of behavior, cultural exposure to the "gay" subculture, certain social vulnerabilities, etc. Chalking the homosexual phenomena up to "unchangeable genetics" is very poor science with lack of holistic thinking and nuances.

I'm not "homophobic" (conformist term) Lol, just dismantling some conformist lies.

I definitely have owned iPhones all my life out of pure conformity. I remember being a teenager thinking it was cooler to have an iPhone over all other phones. It's not the best kind of phone at all.

I'd also wear Converse All Star when I was a teenager out of conformity. Those are hella ugly.

I love this thread!🥰

Wiping your ass with toilet paper.

Stocking up on toilet paper when there's a pandemic.

Peeing standing up as a man. (Sitting down eliminates nearly all splashback, so why not? Probably conformity)

Getting tattoos.

Sharing circles and how they're structured so everyone gets a chance to share.

Calling same-sex attracted males "gay"

Taking notes in class. (Sometimes just listening to the lecture is better and a lot of the notes we won't even review)

Japanese people bowing down to each other. (I think that's Japan, not sure)

Demanding that the scientific method be used to explore every domain of life.

Eating out at restaurants.

Fearing death.
