That’s actually a very helpful distinction. Something can start off as non-conformity or authentic desire and be turned into conformity. Joining a group can be done for non-conformist ways, but being part of the group in most cases requires a degree of conformity. If you don’t conform to group, you are kicked out. Some people’s authentic desire may be in almost perfect alignment with the group, but this seems rare. Even a gardening club would require a degree of conformity.

But also, some things can start off from conformity and turn into nonconformity such as spirituality because your parents forced you and then you finding your own authentic passion within spirituality independent of others.

At a base level, Conformity is a psycho technology to socialize away animalistic urges of humans for social harmony. It is necessary for the functioning of all collectives that are highly organized.

How much you conform is contingent to what degree your survival is tied to social harmony. 99.9999% of all people, including my enlightened masters. Simply being a human on Earth requires you to conform to some degree-

Japanese work culture conformity explained:

*This is what happens when you live in a society purely focused on apperances, devoid of soul and spirituality. This is what happens when you confuse external world of objects as the one and true reality.

Why this actualized work is so important. Imagine these people waste their entire lives worried about what others think of them, if they are acceptable to their superiors, trying to fit in...they are completely paradigm locked in this hellish work culture unable to see a way out. Why it's so important to study many different perspectives, cultures, lifestyles around the world, you see that there are many different ways to live, some good, some not so much.

I always thought if some of these Japanese workers who knew English moved abroad they could really kick ass in the west. Japanese, chinese, Singaporeans and Koreans are some of the most educated people on earth (at least in the stem fields). Their skills and knowledge would be greatly appreciated and used by companies in the west instead of wasting away.

Science conformity in the form of taken for granted assumptions-

• That figments of Consciousness have inherent properties that are objective, and are independent of subjective interpretation (including language, culture, history, cognitive development, etc).
• That the scientific method, materialism, reductionism, logical positivism, rationalism are beyond just mere figments of Consciousness. When in actuality, nothing about science is objective .. what is considered "objective" by scientist is largely illusory and socially constructed.

That’s extremely dangerous. Moving the body in the wrong way not in line with muscles and ligaments can cause serious damage.

The yoga techniques won’t work as well unless they are done very precisely.
