happens to me most often with afternoon naps, and sometimes it goes hand in hand with some kind of astral awareness of my sleeping body in bed before waking up and experiencing the paralysis.

Why do you do to break out?

Nice. I am not this body while also pretending to be this body. You have to be careful not to fall into deceptions, spiritual bypassing, and dysfunction of survival. It can be destabilizing depending on the kind of psyche you have. People chase powers, experiences and siddhis but they never stop to notice who is the one that is experiencing.

I have had ego deaths, the ego comes back online but only now I understand that I am dreaming reality in the same way I beat my heart. I love to push boundaries and to explore different states to go deeper and to challenge my self. For the purpose of self liberation

The awake sit quietly among us.  The lucid unknown.   The dreamer is known only to the dreamer.

i don't do anything other than waiting and letting it happen. there's still some anxiety when i'm in paralysis, so it helps to remind myself of what's going on and that it'll be over in a few seconds. so maybe i do do something, by simply trying to relax into it?

I panic and try to use all my mind force like the Force in Star Wars or something. Like the Force that's literally what it is.  And I always win. For now. Darth Maul hasn't won yet.

i think it goes away on its own, whether you fight it or not. maybe you fighting it is even prolonging the paralysis:)

Coming back from ego death can be dysfunctional too.  Any stories? Man.  I barely came back to sanity.

One time during sleep paralysis I felt this female presence and she told me, that suffering is “love”

Wow OK that's the best experience yet hands down.

I want a beautiful woman coming to me in the night where I cannot move telling me that suffering is love.   I love that man. Thanks for sharing .

Exactly. But here is the mindfuck. What if this thing that you're in right now is exactly the same thing?

By the way, asking yourself "Am I dreaming?" in reality and getting into the habit of checking reality for dreams is one of the practices for achieving lucid dreaming.

I've never achieved it in dreaming.  In the sleeping dream.  Never.  I'm lucid now in the waking dream but have never been able to in the sleeping one. Weird.  I have however experienced sleep paralysis which is a total mind fuck.

I've never experienced sleep paralysis. However, while researching this topic, I learned that those who experience sleep paralysis have a much easier time achieving lucid dreaming. But lucid dreaming has been, and still is, a thing. I remember walking, then trying to run, then thinking, why run? I'd rather fly right away. But faith (a limitation of the adult mind) prevents me from fully flying, but I was able to convince myself. I flew, but somehow strangely. I started going up and down, like on a roller coaster. It became incredibly breathtaking, so much so that I felt like I was about to fly into higher dimensions. But such a rush of feelings broke my concentration, and I woke up. This has happened a couple of times.

If you experience sleep paralysis, perhaps you need to practice certain techniques, and things will improve. I don't know exactly which ones, but I do know that they exist. Of course, they are chosen individually in any case, through personal experimentation.

Yes I've heard this before.   I believe one gifted in that they can experience sleep paralysis could in fact experience lucid dreaming.  And that would be so cool because right now honestly my dreams are so powerful they are on the same level as the waking dream.  I wake up in hot sweats unable to differentiate realities.
