Wealth & Consciousness Are Compatible?

Life is a mess. If you want to help a lot of people, it is better if you take care of your health and live till 80 years old, not 30. So to be helping people a lot you need at some part to be selfish. If you`re talking about being selfless just monk and sitting here meditating without any help to society, then yes, you can have instead of protein the holy spirit. You can be selfless only if you survive, where surviving is inherently selfish.

I was being sarcastic. Unless you're living in the jungle alone, your existence will require either your own or someone else's work or money. And to spread your high consciousness message to as many people as possible requires a lot of work and a lot of money. If you only view money as a means to a materialistic-hedonic end, yes, money will probably not be compatible with high consciousness, but that's a low consciousness view of money.

Can you form a single cogent thought?

I didn’t know I was dealing with toddlers so I will spell it out:

If a group of friends want to play outside tomorrow, but the forecast says it might rain, they will feel fear, because (try to follow) if it rains they can’t play outside.

I hope you understand

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

Idk have you really played football in real life with your friends or haven`t, but if I remember back to my childhood and this scenario happens, I don`t feel fear, I`m just sad. That`s it.

Sure, but you gotta handle survival needs.

By the way how many hours a day you work now? Is your “work” only recording vids?

I don’t think that includes making ‘good’ money, just enough to pay your expenses.

This is a bad scarcity mindset.

Wealth isn't bad, it's good. Just earn it through legitimate creative work rather than scams.

You should have way more wealth than to pay your expenses. You should be so productive and creative that you earn millions. This means you've made yourself useful to the world.

I don't know. I don't keep consistent hours. I just work whenever I feel like it. Sometimes that's a lot, sometimes that's a little.

I’m sure we can find them on your booklist, but can you mention any specific books that help obtain with cultivating this kind of mindset? That would’ve useful for the sake of this forum post.

@Leo Gura I have the impression that Actualized.org is more like your passion and hobby, although this is your life purpose Actualized.org is a secondary thing that earns you money, you have other businesses/skills that bring you the real cash. Am I right?

@Leo Gura

You are your own boss Leo. Really cool to live a sovereign self dependent life financially, and existentially. Self leadership at its finest. Financial stability comes with psychological stability, to be able to take full responsibility and ownership of your entire life, and to survive consciously

Leo I have some of the scarcity mind as well because of all the rich people I know, I don't know any of their back stories so I don't know how they earned their wealth.

Who are some people/companies that made millions ethically?

Do you think that is better approach in work than working at a certain time for fixed amount of hours?

I mean you probably have a lot of things to work on, doesn`t it feel like you need to be super-productive to get all your projects done?

I’m not saying wealth is bad.

But if we are trying to eliminate the ego, why are we going to act in ways that inflate it?

If you were egoless (like Eckhart Tolle) would you really be trying to be a millionaire?

Hard at 30, but not 60. Average American workers can easily be millionaires.

The guy who made the game Stardew Valley earned over $100 million from that game. He made it himself.

A good example of how to make $100M ethically.

These kinds of opportunities exist if you are creative and hardworking.
