It’s like something about reality cannot be talked about

I guess the person by default deals with things in dualistic manner, forming ideas about things, relating to them like objects of desire or not. But to get to the core of something means not doing that, so it’s in conflict with the normal way a human operates, and it’s not always easy to give up that normal mode of operation, that’s why non duality is turned into ideas for folks. Self honesty is important to see this, and it can be useful to start where you are by asking questions as you say

Definitely. Still, I'd watch for the tendency to keep these considerations in the abstract. Asking experiential questions helps counter this tendency.

I guess you mean asking questions that connect directly to one’s experience

Yes, and coming from your present experience. Beyond intellect. Based on real wondering.

The real wondering is important so you don’t get stuck in a mental idea and defend it at all costs but instead you’re genuinely interested in what’s the truth so you’re ready to reevaluate your ideas when experience doesn’t support them

Precisely. Although, if we're talking about the nature of reality, that might turn out not to be an experience. But that's speculation.

It does apply to the world we live in.

Yea exactly I was actually thinking about that too, how we can’t assume what we perceive is the actual nature of reality, which probably many assume (like thinking they see things as they are and not being “filtered “ through the mind). So we can’t assume our experience as an absolute truth

Right, and I bet it's even trickier to see through that assumption because we are currently "living it." We're inside it, so to speak. We can, and probably should, first approach it intellectually, as a first step - trying to locate it and understand it. Which is what we're doing here.

Yes it’s wise to use your mind for what you find most important , in this case truth, instead of just being in monkey mind mode all the time.

I think what you perceive that is the actual nature of reality. I disagree with the filtered through the mind argument. I should come back here and expand on this later, but now i need to go to sleep.

Edit: Hey, i promised to come back here to explain what i meant earlier, but i decided im not going to do that here, because thats not what this conversation was about. If you are interested, Leo has a video on the topic called Perception is everything. Or similar title, i think its his only video that has Perception in the title so it wont be a problem to find it.

I've discovered this when I was 3 years old and was done with it  . It's perfectly clear to me that nobody ever understands a goddam thing and that this is going to be the case forever.

Pretty scary stuff.  Try to distract yourself by eating some cookies or watching anime movies .just don't dig deep into this particular fact or you might literally lose your mind and trust me you don't want that.

But for me it's total liberation.  Nobody in the entire world even knows what an atom of existence is.

Everyone are idiot fucks .including Leo and all the gurus and philosophers and scientists etc.

I can show a pencil and no idiot on this forum can tell me what the fuck is a pencil.

@Someone here You'll grow out of this phase :)

Deal with the issue now, on your terms, in your control. Or the issue will deal with you, in ways you won't appreciate, and cannot control.

You can say that . You can say whatever you want . We can play conceptual games all day all night forever..but bottom line is no amount of blabbering actually explains what a piece of cow poo is .

Bypassing feeling is what is going on here. I don't know what feeling you are afraid of - but you instantly rejected.

You must be willing to die for the truth, you must be willing to surrender your mind/ego/identity totally for the truth, even to glimpse it.

Are you willing to do that? Some of us were less fortunate, we had no other option. The reintegration is when the real stuff beings.

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance of separative... unity...

Just wait - one day I will psychoanalyze Leo into the next dimension.

No one escapes my categorical observation and terror dredging ... I just wait until the victim is willing to let me in :P

But as you wish, no messing for now.

I just want you to know I send the e-hugs :x
