Let me clarify: 

I took the idiom "Kill with kindness", which is usually interpreted to mean responding to negativity from others in a kind way. But now I am flipping the script with "Kill yourself with kindness", meaning to self-reflect on your own internal hatred so you can work towards giving yourself self-compassion. It is a skill that takes years to develop.

Where is there to go? The common assumption behind suicide is that you'll go into this lovey dovey plane of existence where all your worries and problems will melt away, escaping the problems ur facing on earth. Is that guaranteed though? Is it true? For all I know, my life after death could be worse. Many people report hellish NDE experiences. After reading many NDE reports, I have this intuition that suicide in many cases is the too obvious answer. People get lectured in their life reviews telling them how much of a selfish asshole they were etc etc. I think if someone is truly suicidal, they should probably go balls to the wall in spirituality since they have nothing to lose either.

My personal theory is that some form of kamma is real. We don't know what any of us did in our past lives but it might come boomeranging back relentlessly. What I think matters is intentions behind suicide. Are they pure? Since most things in the universe are cyclic in some kind of way, it's no wild assumption to also assume birth and death is also cyclic (rebirths). If one's intentions are relatively pure (eg. if one has attained a very high integrated spiritual state but is suffering a terminal illness) then suicide would be considered tbh. If I were to commit suicide, I would settle my business here on earth and repay my debts to society, my family and others who have helped me. And I would have attained a highly integrated spiritual state which even carries over to my daily life (like an arahant). For me that would be a blameless suicide.

Point is, I don't think suicide is the escape most people think it is. Who can prove existence after suicide isn't more suffering than what one intended to escape? Im not some new ager "life is a school!" type either. The suffering is definitely there and it does seem senseless and meaningless for many. But I do think most suicides has some form of metaphysical consequences. For terminal illness and chronic unbearable physical pain, sure I can see why it would be done. For most people I think, mental problems can be worked on and overcome instead of going straight into the deep end and dying. But for many, it does get to that point unfortunately may they rest in peace.

My suicidality lessened a lot when I realised my suicide isn't exactly the escape that I romanticised it to be. I have a lot of work to do. If you go hardcore into what buddhism teaches, you may find some satisfying conclusions and answers. Classic buddhism won't alleviate all suffering in this life but it will prevent future suffering from future rebirths.

I am discouraging it, But in a nutshell I find suicide as valid if one is suffering immensely enough. Shit I think I’ll do it eventually and I would hate for someone tell say “oh don’t go we need you here” bla bla fck offf

I feel like there's a lot of context missing here. We don't even know your situation properly so how can we help? You said you budgetted whatever you could and did everything you could, but did you really? I'm not trying to be rude here but are you being honest with yourself and with us? Anyways, my reason for never committing suicide is that your life can always get better. Doesn't matter how dire your life situation is right now, there's always at least SOMETHING you can do to improve your life. And for you it may seem you've tried everything, but as you may know our egos tend to trick ourselves. So maybe there's some ddifferent approach you haven't tried yet who knows? But in the end it's your decision. I've just always viewed suicide as cowardly, at least in the context of emotional suffering like in your case, because how cowardly does one have to be to run away from all their problems in life? Again i don't know your circumstances but that's just how i'd see it if i were in your shoes. And the fact that not knowing what's after death is the only thing stopping you just sounds like an excuse to not take radical action to start changing your life.

 

I'm making a lot of assumptions here because you didn't really give me much to work with, especially considering the limited context you asked this question. I only know that you're 28, live in a moldy room somewhere, have financial problems, and probably lives in the US? Like i don't even know in which country you live. Look man there's always light at the end of the tunnel, even if doesn't seem that way. I truly believe this tho, and i also believe that you can control how you feel about your life. But to end things of i can ask a few questions:

In which country do you live? (Different health care systems in different countries)

Why do you live in a moldy appartment? (As in what's stopping you from moving to a better place?)

Do you have financial constraints? Why? (Can influence your possibilities for getting help or not)

What got you to this situation at the age of 28? What past experiences and wvents caused you to feel/live this way? Like if you're going to ask a loaded question as you put it, then at least give the appropriate context so people can actually help you you know?

There are just a looot of questions unanswered here, of which the answers to those questions matter a lot on what kind of help you need. Do you have any mental illnesses for example? Are you physivally healthy? Are you not obese? Is your sleep schedule good? Do you have a job? What kind of job and what kind of influence does it have over your life? How much money do you make? Can you make ends meet? Etc.

Do you get what i'm saying man?

Anyways sorry for the long message but if you're truly considering suicide then get some help brother. And if you can't, then ask yourself why. There's always a way.

I don’t want to be alive. I didn’t ask to be born, and I don’t see any point in being here. I don’t care about working, paying bills, chasing relationships, or playing along with this system. People keep telling me to ‘get help’ or ‘find purpose,’ but it feels like they don’t understand — I’m not looking for a better job, a girlfriend, or a new hobby. I believe life is overrated, forced upon us without consent, and full of pointless suffering. I just want an exit — a real choice to stop existing.

But that doesn’t exist legally. You’re forced to stay alive, forced into survival, forced into jobs, bills, expectations. And if you refuse, you just get labeled broken or mentally ill. Why is it illegal to opt out peacefully? Why is it acceptable to force people to stay alive against their will?

This is a good question! Oh wait this is my own post ... I'm still ready for government assisted suicide I really have no idea why systems are in place to force people to remain alive like I can't talk to literally no one who respects my decision I want to die, literally people revert to forcing me to remain surviving even if it means hospitalization, forced medications and being labelled mentally deranged. I literally answer Camus number one question before all other philosophical inquiries as to whether or not to commit suicide and my answer is yes suicide is the answer for me personally but after that nothing else with actual assisted methods or respect for such choices - Like what am I supposed to do risk a do it yourself setup and risk botching it like how are you supposed to be born with no fucking exit - fuck that - There are lives out there easily visible that shouldn't be happening like slavery in ancient Rome for example, some cosmic force should have interviewed and prevented that shit, hopefully I don't die and spawn into worse of circumstances - To be born is essentially schitzophrenia madness like god is sadistic and doesn't know itself and a glitching shitty A.I. - To even be alive is madness, seriously, so in other words Camus calls it "Absurdism" which in other words is essentially schitzophrenia madness

Hmm..... but are you able to pull off a painless death? Basically if you die, the "you" as you know it ceases to exist. From your point of view, you will always get your wish no matter what in the end.

Probably shouldn't worry about reincarnation, because you totally become someone else. You eventually get dealt with a better hand of cards.

@ted73104 My answer to Camus question is yes to suicide as the fundamental question before anything else, I'm ready. Yet he won the nobel prize and there is no talk beyond a yes only the no to rebel against life but I'm not going to rebel against an indifferent void that leaves me for interchangeable dust in the end. I personally disagree with life it's BS the whole set up is schitzophrenic madness or as Camus casually calls it "Absurdism". And no the options for a painless death don't seem readily available but I should have the right to exit.
