@Carl-Richard there's a time and place for group think but enlightenment isn't it.  That's why I brought up meditation because it involves going into yourself.  Group think places your authority with the group so you can never go inside yourself.  I don't know why you are having so much trouble with this.  A retreat doesn't have to be about group think.

One can have 2 variants - one of group think where collectivistic ideas are detailed and the other where challenging notions are entertained without boundaries. Appealing to both sides of the coin. People can get far fetched just to avoid group think and land into the area of absurdity. At the same time, group think makes critical reasoning impossible. In a nutshell, all ideas should be welcome as long as they adhere to sanity, group think or not.

The .majority of mankind won't do this becsuse they have religion or other group think instilled in them so deeply it has become their identity. I had someone literally admit this to me the other day.  To learn from you requires a level of open mindedness most do not possess.

Faintly 😀 but the difference is where you place a "belief"  Did you watch Leo's videos on True spirituality vs fake? True would be to place no beliefs but to apply the concepts into your direct experience.  I said you were full of crap because you are a proponent of meditation.  Christians don't grasp the difference between concept and actuality.  Try explaining it to them.

I didn't because I already knew what it was about: placing New Age religion as the true spirituality, anything else as fake.

We also had a discussion about the variety that exists within Christianity, and you might remember I disagree with that as well.
