What Buddhists and nondualists get wrong is that they reduce the Absolute to formlessness only. They miss that the Absolute applies equally to all form

Oh well.
„Form is Emptiness (śūnyatā). Emptiness is Form“

What are you again Leo? Like in „can never not be“? And now tell me that that which you really are is not always the case…

Existence is Consciousness. Consciousness is an Absolute. An Absolute is that which has no other.

You are really asking if there is something other than God. The answer is No.

What humans mistake as non-existence is the dissolving of forms. Forms do dissolve, but they dissolve into the Absolute Existence of Emptiness.

Emptiness exists. Emptiness is not non-existence.

Being is. Non—Being is not. Parmenides.

Sitting beneath a bright moon on a Dodecanese Island and watching all pointers dissolve in THAT — meet you there. Always already.

Yes, they parrot that, but their words and attitude do not demostrate a grasp of it. Which is why they continue to do the reductionism and flattening of Consciousness.

And just because a few Buddhists got it long ago does not mean today's Buddhists get it in average. We are generalizing here.

Quoting a 1000 year old scripture doesn't mean today it is grasped.

I didn't say Infinity is death, I said death is Infinity.

What you think off as death is just Infinity. Death is a conceptual thing. You don't really die, you just become God.

Death is impossible because you are God and God is Absolute. You are imagining death out of fear of Infinity/God.

When you "die" you become more conscious than you are now.

Do you think that really happens to everyone or just people who've awakened while alive?
what's the relationship between becoming God at death and reincarnating?

Everyone becomes Total Infinity. There is no choice in the matter. That's what "death" is.

It is possible though you don't fully die for whatever reason. In which case any kind of weirdness is possible. Like, near death is not enough, it has to be total death.

@Mellowmarshhere it is.

Thank you ☺️

If there’s a right way or wrong way, I usually get it wrong. My memory is awful sometimes.

You are awareness, aware you are conscious of existing.

Awareness is infinite, infinity now here. You cannot vanish.

You are never not here to vanish from here.

@Leo Gura interesting

for awhile I've been saying 5 meo DMT is a death experience, opposed to the near death experiences people have when they flatline and come back.

I had my first experience with it a month and a half ago, maybe soon ill write up a trip report . After having it , I'm seriously considering living in a monastery and pursuing enlightenment as a full time job for a year .

This statement is contradictory. It's an oxymoron. Nothing can BECOME Total Infinity. There is no partial Infinity. Infinity is already the case and nothing BECOMES anything. Everything is already Infinity BEING....and that's even saying too much because there are really no things, but just for clarification and language.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

Not necessarily , the mind is a two way mirror.  Integration is the key to ultimate understanding.

Nothing gets to experience infinity so therfore nothing is actually infinite.

No experiencer = No infinity

The word infinity and what it attempts to point out, is completely meaningless.

Or, to put it more succinctly. Death is infinity.

No one knows what death is.

Everyone knows what death is. Death is the absence of presence. Or, the presence of absence.
