AI is the end of women

@something_else I was only just thinking - it has gotten better!

Not surprised this sort of thinking came from Orion

An interaction with Unconscious programmed AIs would never replace an interaction with a real human being. I mean there are some sites you can visit now and create an AI boyfriend or AI girlfriend and talk to him or her all day (and do other stuff that there is no need to mention them )...but no amount of that will replace a single minute spend with actual humans .

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

But this is bs. You see way more post and comments on the internet about AI girlfriends than AI boyfriends.

Men struggle more in this regard that's why if it ever come to such a point they will use it more.

That’s because we are only in the early stages of AI. It takes time for a new technology to move past the realm of basement dwelling nerd men and the general public including women.

There was a lot of talks in western world, in businesses I worked for and heard about about the right leadership, and promoting intrinsic motivation...but it seems it's not as good as it sounds.

I just quickly checked one study: "Study findings have shown that 50%–83% of cancer patients continue to smoke after diagnosis".

So much for intrinsic drive even in extreme cases of health. My step dad continued smoking as well after diagnosis, and the suffered a lot in his late years. Now imagine every time a diagnosed patient smoked a cigarette, a person next to the smoker would give a punch to the face. As a total sum probably less painful than continuing smoking, but I guess it would serve as external motivation to quit?

A good reason is needed to have enough leverage over one's motivations. Our baser habits tend to be experienced as more pleasurable than painful and too painful to recondition, thus cancer patients keep smoking even after their diagnosis.

Society is largely spiritually hollow and takes virtue for granted, which is to say there is no greater meaning to how we lead our lives culturally and we don't cultivate meaning consciously. If you are  researching career opportunities for example, there is generally very little talk of how a job is meaningful, unless it is really obvious, like working at a non-profit.

For most of human history most men did not get to mate then the industrial revolution happened and women were forced into this role where they rely on a breadwinner for stability and resources. Women fought to be free of that prison and now have complete freedom to choose their partners from a place of desire and it is clear from their choices that the vast majority of men are not considered attractive.

There is no good work that will develop boys into attractive men. You are either attractive or not. There are unhygienic, abusive, narcissistic bums who are emotionally unavailable and only care about their next orgasm who have no issues attracting women, you know why? because they are simply born with the right features and have the genes women want. Tall, handsome attractive men don't have to do good work. You can't good work your way into being desirable in 2025.

Again: How do you know this?

You're basically saying that attraction is all about looks. In other words, you think autism has never negatively affected my success with women because I'm pretty good-looking? I would have laughed if it weren't for the fact that I don't find stupidity funny.

I agree with you on one thing though: The majority of men are not attractive. That's largely because boys' and even men's culture is incel culture, and this needs to change.

The most sad part about this thread is that people who don’t have any credentials in AI or IT are making huge statements like AI will never do this and that. It is like those 20th century horse riders who see the first car and say “cars will never replace horses, they don’t breathe and shit like horses”. I expected better epistemology from the people of this forum. Foolishness 101.

If you aren’t integrating AI in your life you are missing out. The whole point of human and AI is that it needs two to tango. To most people AI is the equivalent of a computer to a monkey so they don’t know how to use it. There is almost no education on how to use AI the right way but using AI is similar to having a great tutor in your pocket and always present with you. Dialectical skills is king.

This is something I don't quite understand either. I see this strangely adamant attitude also among friends who are avid AI users and who are very interested in it.

That's cause there are people out there saying all the time that A.I. is going to replace humans in X industries in short ammounts of time, that we are facing a crisis we are not ready for, etc. etc. All this fearmongering makes it seem like this is just another bubble waiting to be popped - which it probably is, to some extent. Either way I don't really like how we are going about this A.I. thing, social welfare policies aren't catching up to these recent developments at all cause leaders and rich people don't give a shit, and people like you are just sucking up to them for no reason. I don't have it in me to be joyfull when I see how jobs are being lost, enviroment is being drained and faqs like Mark Alienberg, Elon Sucks and others are smiling. There's no real benefit of A.I. for regular people, and certainly not this strange shit you've made thread about
