Just had a tiny Déjà vu. Understood. My mind has a tendency to get side tracked because of neurodivergency, I try to be mindful of that as this is not the first time.

Most of these shootings could be stopped if we raised the legal age to own a gun to like 25 and charged parents for giving their kids guns.

People below age 25 are too immature to own guns.

Gun control worked in Australia following Port Arthur  -  but I understand most Americans do not want to hear this argument.

I personally feel gun laws should be tightened in America.

Responsibility to handle firearms should be demonstrably proven.

This is what's bothered me the most since this happened. The entire conversation has been around political violence and not gun violence. As if to prove the point, the shooting in Colorado took place within the hour. I'm sure it's been said but the debate Charlie was having moments before he was shot was about gun violence.
