Purpose of Life

29 posts in this topic

Not enlightenment, not money, not peace, not joy, not God, not realization...

It's just saying "I LOVE YOU" once, from the bottom of my heart.

Align with God.  That is the purpose if there was one at all. I say that because God is ever beckoning you closer.  Selflessness.  Love.  Alignment with your higher self.  If there were a purpose it would be that.

to me the purpose of life is very similar to the purpose of art...for example;

....to express, communicate, and evoke emotions and ideas, creating aesthetic experiences that reflect and influence culture and society, and ultimately enrich the human experience beyond mere utility.

You are already it.

What can be the only reason of separation?

The human emotional structure tends toward closure; it seeks security and repetition. It's an evolutionary mechanism that works good at the societal level but leads individuals into a trap. Either you're very perceptive, or you'll fall deeper and deeper into the trap, which takes many forms. The spiritual is one of them. Reality is a bottomless opening. If your reality is closed, you're in a trap. The problem is that it's easy to believe you're not.

Then the goal as a human is the total openess to the reality that you are and integrating that with the human society

Death is inevitable. So, for what?

Because it's the movement that reality demands. If you are open to the flow you feel what is needed, it's obvious, inevitable. Reality is always flowing, then the best position is being one with the flow

Flow only bring love, like flowers.

Purpose is limitation. The purpose of life, as we know it, is whatever purpose we want to give it. Not even to align with God because God is everything. Life, as we don't know it however, is purposeless. It doesn't need a purpose because it is boundless and free.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

Purpose is a made up concept ✨️

Don't we generally tend to take statements like that rather trivially? It might be the case that it is a concept - yet there could be more to the story. We might hear such a claim as "it's just a thought, a trivial and superficial activity that has little to no influence on my experience," but it can actually be a very powerful one. And even if it is made up, that doesn't have to mean that purpose is bad, negative, or wrong. In fact, reacting negatively to such statements can be a red flag, as they're likely being misunderstood.

We hear words like "invented" or "generated" and suddenly begin to lose "faith" in the value of the invention - as if recognizing its nature somehow diminished its power. But this is a mistake on our part.

"Life " as in our human individual lives either has no purpose by default other than survive and reproduce..or it has extra purpose if we set it up .

But "life" as in the entire existence has a direction it's headed towards inevitably. I don't know what that is exactly but it's obvious that whatever existence is moving towards is going to arrive at.  Like if you throw a rock in a river then the river is going to carry the rock to whatever it must go to according to the laws of physics.

That's the bottom line .

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

Yes. Therefore, action or effort is meaningless. And there is a gift within the effortlessness.

Not quite. It's not like your muscles will turn into jelly cola if you realized there is actually no one bench pressing  thar 100ibs. Flow and inevitable destination are the case whether effort is involved or not . You can't defeat "it ".

Stop fooling yourself bro 😂. This dude is next level. He can literally get high on nothing .we are seekers barely starting the path. This is a realized sage .you want to take this whole enlightenment and spirituality business for real then log out and never come back to this forum again and go meditate in a cave until you wake the fuck up for real.

Such group think. How do you know what you're saying. You've heard it before. If he was dressed in a suit and tie you would think he was a fake or some minister preaching shit. Don't you see this is energy in form. It's a picture of a man in a diaper. So what. He utters some words you've heard in a recording or read. What does that mean; nothing. He fooled all you into thinking he's some special man because he's in a diaper. He must be enlightened, only an enlightened man would be so bold to wear a diaper and seem to speak with such enlightened knowledge. He's no more special than anyone else. He's never uttered a word in his life. He's a mummy who spoke words from the same source you speak from. From the same drug addict on the street. Same source, which is no source. Do you really think this man or any other human speaks from their own accord. No, we're like tape recordings from life. Life speaks to itself and it's saying nothing other than uttering some words from different bodies that life seems to give meaning to.

I don't care who reads this and think i'm crazy but you're the crazy one thinking another body is more special than yours and that another body can utter some words that actually change anything existentially. Life is being life and the words I just typed is life and the words I read from you is life and the video Leo made is life with not a single person behind any of it. Now, let's get back to being fooled by this illusion and continue to be mesmerized by it and hallucinate about what am I.

@Princess Arabia trust me i know all this nonsense..I really do . All I'm saying is it doesn't cost you a sweat to blabber this spiritual nihilism in a forum while sitting in a air-conditioned house sipping Starbucks Ice coffee.

Go live in Africa or Gaza and let's test this .

Please try to understand my point .
