How Important Are Demographics in Attraction?

Is this true?: The type of women you naturally attract are based on who you are. 

I am not experienced in pick-up. A while back, I got a super good-looking chick interested in me. 

I kept wondering, how come she was interested in me, whereas in many other girls I tried to approach and seduce were not that responsive. 

I strongly suspect that one of the big reason's she was more interested in me is because our parents have a very similar love story. Where two people of different ethnicity or culture married, and were condemned by society. I realized, that after saying my parent's love story, she told me her parent's love story and there was this common reality shared which lead to a sort of connection. I got the impression that for her, the struggles her parents faced were a big part of her identity almost. 

After that she made meeting up with her easier. 

Contrast this with many other women I tried picking up, I suspect that strong reason why it didn't progress is because there wasn't this common reality shared between me and the girl i was approaching. To her, I was this guy from another place, that spoke another language (right now in a non-english speaking country), that had nothing in common with her. There were no shared demographics. 

In Mark Manson's book model's, demographics are said to have a huge role. He says looks are universal demographics. But generally, you will mainly meet and attract women you share something in common with. Like you'll attract a chick that likes philosophy if you like philosophy and are relatively high status in a philosophy club that your both part in. Is this true?

 

To what extent to demographics play a role in pick-up and game?

How do I leverage it well?

Warning: The girl that I "attracted" I didn't sleep with. I cut it off for other reasons. None the less, I sensed she was much more attracted to me that others as she asked me out, and made it easy for me to date her.

Also the fact that this girl liked me could have been just plain luck.

@UpperMaster That could have played a role for her... the common demographic background.

But honestly, it's about the chemistry and the human-to-human connection... and commonality of any kind just helps with that.

What you're describing is not demographics, it's commonality.

Yes, finding some kind of "magic" commonilty is hugely helpful for getting your foot in the door. For example, if you are German on vacation in Thailand and you bump into a German girl who is also on vacation in Thailand, that gives you a huge advantage in her sleeping with you because there is an instant bond based on shared background.

Like, if you run into a girl and you two were both born in the same hometown just by pure luck, that greatly increases your odds with her. She will think there is some magical connection when in fact it's just dumb luck and she doesn't know how to reason. Haha!

Girls LOVE fake magical coincidences! They love that shit. A crafty devil will exploit this weakness of feminine psychology.

The reason this works is because girls crave to feel special when dating. Anything that makes it feel special and magical will help a lot. Girls hate the idea that she is the 26th girl you approached that day. Girls want to believe that you approached only her for some magical reason. They want that romance fantasy. Unique commonalities make it feel like a magical connection. Like, if you two both got bitten by sharks as kids, she will say to herself, "OMG! He must be my soulmate!"

Well yeah for sure. You can learn to manufacture this to build that share emotional connection with random women but it's more important for you to like her as hanging out with women you're not compatible with will drain you over time.

I've been followed by some really pretty and nice girls because I talked to them once, and rejected by some not-so-attractive girls.

It's just vibe; not even about commonality, nor even energy; it's deeper than that.

 

And vibe regularly changes, and so the kind of girl you attract; the kind of girl I attract changes all the time depending on the day, beliefs that dissolve, others that are born, etc; but that's maybe just me these days, it will stabilize.

It's twisted because true/higher self in an illusion, it's pretty clear to me now.
