On Saturday, June 14, Americans in over 1,600 cities and towns — red, blue, and everything in between — will take to the streets in a mass, nonviolent protest to say:

America is moving from a fascist state to a Nazi state. Certainly not there yet but its on the way, most of the people being targeted are not going to be white. 

I don't think i've ever used the race as a factor in any discussion that I can recall, not for years, so I don't use it lightly, but its directly relevant here, especially as many of ICE are white supremacists.

Black People are speaking this for years, is just obvious now because the masks are falling.

I get it, we all have things that directly impact us but I don't tend to drop general terms like fascist or nazi without getting a lot of feedback that they are true across the country. Not just in one region or for one type of interaction. I've been using fascist for a few years of the right wing in America, with the obvious addition that elections still exist, there is a mostly free press, protests, etc., and the democrats are not fascist, they are more authoritarian or centre-right. So to say Nazi is difficult, but this is a step in that direction. If it were more targeted to all races, then I would have stuck with fascist, but it seems directly targeted at people with brown and black skin.

@PurpleTree  I am going to the beach in one hour. For my luck I am far from any war zone or places wAlking towards war. So far I feel in peace, but aware that the world is one, I still feel that soon or later this events will end up finding even the most peaceful places if the system we have keep going like this.

Trump may project an image of himself as a strong-man, but he's resorting to these strong-arm tactics because his regime is weak and unpopular.

His regime is using this show of force in LA as an intimidation tactic, hoping that we'll obey in advance.

Don't fall for it.

There's not enough troops in all branches of the military for him to occupy a country of 330 million. Moreover, he's assuming our service members are mindless automatons willing to enforce Trump's illegal orders without question.

Don't do this regime's work for it, don't give this regime power it doesn't have. 

I'll continue exercising my Constitutional Rights to free speech and peaceful assembly as a proud member of the pro-democracy movement, and I hope everyone here will as well.

I'd also strong encourage everyone here to join their local chapter Indivisible - one of the hub organizations in the pro-democracy movement - to stay informed about events in their area, network with people in your community, and make sure that we're participating in these events with a long term strategy for how to weaken Trump's regime.

That line of tanks in the video? Those will be tearing up the streets of Washington DC, all so the insecure tyrant can throw himself a lavish North Korean style military for his birthday.

$45 million taxpayer dollars are being spent on this disgusting farce at a time when Trump is firing tens of thousands of veterans from our federal workforce along with devastating budget cuts to the Department Of Veterans Affairs.

Elon Musk must know the No Kings protests are gonna be huge. He's spreading propaganda trying to paint the movement as corrupt, claiming elite political backing, paying protestors $200/day. Only two options here. He's literally a dumbass or he's deceiving people intentionally. Obviously, it's the latter.

Everyone take an hour out of your day tomorrow to join the No Kings protest. Most are only lasting an hour or two. I live in bumfuck and found one 30 mins from my house. Take friends if you got'em. I'm showing up solo with a black face covering so the reds can't target me.

Short of getting married or having major surgery, whatever you're doing today is less important than showing up to defend your country from fascism.

This is an all hands on deck situation, even if you can only attend briefly it will have an impact.

Stay safe, remain peaceful, give 'em hell.

(No shade towards folks who genuinely can't make it for one reason or another, but I'm encouraging everyone to make an effort. This is not a drill - fascism IS HERE, and we need to come together to stand against it.)

Seems Elon Musk's propaganda was effective. Looking at my local Newspaper's Facebook post of the event, a common thread is all the protestors were paid $200 to show up. 

Negative comments outnumber positive 10-1. 

And half of them have no clue why these protests are even taking place. lol.

Alt National Parks is estimating that over 11 million people showed up - that's more than twice as many as the Hands Off protests, and over %3 of the entire US population! 🇺🇸
