My relatives that live in Germany and Austria told me that a ton of manufacturing and construction businesses are facing serious turmoil and are risking going out of business because the demand from clients has dropped considerably compared to 5 or 10 years ago. Those relatives of mine are MAGA like conservative right wingers that bitch and moan all day long about how harmful the Green Deal policies of the EU are hurting their businesses and that the bureaucracy is destroying the competitiveness of their business and so on. They are always scapegoating the bureaucrats in Bruxselles! I've always regarded their lamentations as bullshit due to them being right wingers and I view EVERY right winger as a dumb fool. But maybe I am wrong. So I want you guys to tell me the truth. Are the EU policies doing a lot of harm in deed to their businesses? Are my relatives being poisoned with Russian propaganda from the bullshit they see each day on tiktok and facebook? Are the EU policies good but because my relatives are corrupt devils they wish some right wing party to rule so that all the regulations and bureaucracy will be eliminated so that they can continue exploiting their employees and customers without any government intervention to stop them from doing so? What is really the truth? I have no Idea! Please enlighten me!

The whole political underpinning of the world is in flux to be honest. What’s going on I can’t say for sure, but whatever it is it goes much deeper than just government vs businesses. 
 

You’re right to feel conflicted and confused. I myself have wrestled with many of the exact same questions lately. Darkness and insanity seems to be proven “correct” time and time again.

But I think we’re just witnessing what’s going on on the surface. I don’t think the answer is just to agree that selfish, Trump-style greed is true, but it also seems that just expecting governments to function “normally” and society to behave by a set of legal norms seems to be ineffective these days too.

A lot is going to change of the next few years. Things absolutely no one saw coming. The important thing in the meantime is to expand your groundedness, love, and ability to go with the flow.

I voted Nicușor Dan with all my heart! Mr. Dan is in my eyes a tier 2 stage yellow individual. Romania shouldn't develop the problems of western Europe? Problems like what? Problems like a solid justice where if I am wronged the justice could punish those who wronged me without needing me to pay bribes to the prosecutors and judges? If it’s so easily dismissed as shit then you should just as easily wipe the floor clean with it and bring some counter arguments.

How else should we explain why the elite don’t seem to do what’s in favour of their respective nations? Perhaps it’s because they don’t simply have loyalty to them - including trans-national entities such as corporations.

Its also not as simple as what right wing conspiracists think - that’s it’s a cabal conspiring in the dark. It’s simply a coordination and a confluence of multiple actors and private capital going to where the next best return is on their capital.

Beyond incentives perhaps it’s also ideological / utopian thinking.

Georgescu has been ejected from elections and his voters essentially reported themselves on Simion.

I saw simion's intervention on CNEWS you talk below (i'm french) and he was particularly hostile to russia.

I mean even France's right wing television told him he is a Russian puppet because he is parroting Putin's narrative. Talk is cheap, he can speak against Russia all he wants, but his party vetoed a law in the Romanian parliament that allowed the army to shut down drones. Also that law consited of allowing Nato troops to operate in our land on peace time. And that retard screamed all day long that Nato draggs Romania into war. He is totally against Ukraine aid, moreover he wants all Ukrainian refugees on Romania to be deported back to Ukraine. He is totally anti western liberalism and values. He is parroting all the time exactly Putin's narrative, he is creating chaos in Romania with tiktok that is spreading conspiracy theories all day long about Ursula von der Leyen taking Romanian kids and sending them to the frontlines of Ukraine. With Simion president and his party gaining a majority in 2028 in the next parliamentary elections we would have became a far right Christian Orthodox dictatorship, isolated from the whole world, out of the EU and Nato and more backwards than ever.
