So, really it’s not a case for solipsism being bs at all. When you dream at night in your own mind you deal with weird characters who you cannot control but you know they only exist in your mind right?

The difference is, when you awaken from the sleep dream, the sleep world dissappears. But when death happens in real life, only one piece of creation goes away, the rest of it has its own sovergnity.

Imagine for a moment, dear friends, that you are Conciousness, and that you have only this one awareness - that you are at peace, and that you are.

@Salvijus Yeah but how would you know that if you were dead? You imagine reality exists outside of you. As of right now you can’t prove it. It’s a belief just like solipsism is a belief.

How do you know when you came into existence so didn’t all of world history, all others even physical laws. All constructed by your infinite will. To hide the truth that it’s…. all Self. Oneness.

The thing is you haven’t and cannot  prove anything outside of your experience. It’s either you are locked into the perspective of a physical creature, or, you are the source.

What’s really true, is that you’ve only ever experienced your own mind.

I think the scary thing about belief in solipsism is the Aloneness that comes with it.

Nice to actually have this discussion and hear others points of view, because I feel slightly less alone now.

@Hojo you're not alone!

You can know that others are sentient by the virtue of sentience. It takes one to recognizes one. You can become directly concious that everything is concious, not just you.

Yes this, you are so right. Enough to drive anyone into insanity.

Deal with the issue now, on your terms, in your control. Or the issue will deal with you, in ways you won't appreciate, and cannot control.

@TruthFreedom I am just trying to cleanse my imagination right now. Fear of death is worse than solipsism, solipsism after fear of death is a cakewalk. Its just weird.Being scared of nothing is worse than being scared of something. Something is an infinite bonus.

So, don’t believe in it. Aloneness doesn’t really come with it. It only comes with fake solipsism. Go socialize. Speak to friends and family. See? There are billions of people on earth and we are getting caught up in solipsistic fantasy and depression ourselves.

You are not alone!

Self = other so that’s no surprise. We are one.

I agree with Hojo and Leo

Reality is Solipsistic.

Solipsistic doesn’t mean there’s a ‘someone’ who is solipsistic. It simply means there’s nothing outside of everything.

There’s just everything being nothing, or nothing being everything. That’s the true definition of solipsism.

@TruthFreedom Haha, well. The forum is fun but it doesn’t quite wet the social whistle.

Love is another proof that solipsism is bs. Because love is the union between two. It's a relationship between a giver and receiver. Both giver and receiver is God but it proves that God individuates itself to many parts. You're just a small piece in God's puzzle, not the center of the universe. Each piece of the puzzle is as valid as you are.

Natasha gets it.

@Thought Art

How does one remove an "@user" icon from a reply.

Because this reply was not intended to be at you, but I couldn't work out how to delete the "@user" icon

@Salvijus Yeah but that’s a finite definition of love or a type of love.
