I can tell you a much simpler psychology of all cults:

NO ONE CARES ABOUT TRUTH.

That's it. You don't need complicated Freudian explanations. No one who cares about truth would ever join or start a cult.

I kinda disagree with this. If one has a profound understanding of the nature of Reality, that is all One, it's all Consciousness, it's all God, it's all You/Me, then one understands that anything in Reality is exactly how it is designed to be. No matter what is occurring Now, is what God is making itself to be, and it can't be any other way than what it is. Anything that Reality is, is all equal, as it's all Consciousness, Nothingness. It's all equally meaningless. So if reality is being part of a cult, or running a cult and having 'followers', that is what God/Consciousness wanted to be. And it's just as nothingness, meaningless, a dream, as anything else it could be.

No. Nothing about realizing Oneness suggests you should start or join a cult. Just the opposite. If you did the work to realize Oneness then you should have a keen appreciation of how cultish groups destroy realization of Oneness.

Just like nothing about realizing God implies that you should become a rapist. Raping is an obstacle and distraction from God-Realization.

Joining a cult is like becoming a rapist, thinking it will get you closer to God.

Apparently he denies this and claims it is a smear campaign.

One of the accusers is a 14 year old girl. I haven't checked this myself.

But he did give me feral gross slime vibe in the podcast.
