If you couldn't find psychedelics or do meditation, how could you reach awakening?

I can't find psychedelics, and I have real problems with doing something I don't like , like meditation(it's literally impossible for me to do something that isn't interesting to my brain).

I can do contemplation but lately it doesn't lead me anywhere, it just wears me down. Should I quit and no longer suffer from my desire to understand things better or there are other ways?

I love how you say you’re suffering from your desire to understand things better. Because that’s what will keep driving you. You can give up if you want. And I wager you’re the type of person to keep coming back.

You know that you have to sit with yourself and go within sooner or later right?

We will all die in the end and we will all face ourselves finally sooner or later.

Take your time I'm doing the same thing, taking my time.

But I know I will have to face myself in the end, whether I want it or not, it's a must.

They are very easy to find on internet.

At worst you can pm someone to ask him sources on email.

Actually no. There seemingly isn’t free will.

That’s not how “there being no free will”works, there’s still an appearance of free will so the person can make choices , the realization of there being no free will doesn’t change the sense of it

At the deep level there seems no free will. In the dream there is free will. But we want th deep stuff not this dream stuff.

"Reach Awakening" implies time. There's no actual time. Yes, there appears to be time and we're living in time and space but it's only an appearance. The Absolute appears as time and space. That said, the Absolute is also appearing as someone trying to 'reach awakening'. Blah blah blah. I know, more non-duality bullshit, but you asked and I'm just giving you my take.

You're already awake. All the practices people do will lead to this recognition when exhausted. That's actually what the practices are good for. It's not to awaken you, but so you realize there's no you to awaken and that awakening is already the case. You just haven't realized this yet. No one realizes it, actually, there's something there that realizes itself to be nothing. Something like that; hard to explain.

This is not to say don't even do practices, but if you're hungry, you eat. You get hungry again, you eat again. You will never stay full. Always a process going on. Same thing here, awaken, then awaken to more, and more and more. Always awakening to bigger and better awakenings. It never ends because there is no end to what never was.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

@Sugarcoat @PurpleTree I can help you crack the free will nut for good but listen carefully.

Did you make any choice to find and  read this thread today?

I guess when you analyze the moment of taking the action.. It turns out there is no order or reason behind our thoughts and actions. It's all so random and chaos.

It also has to do with the illusion of the "chooser". When it's seen cleary that the sense of individuality is illusion.. It's hard to then make a case that "you" have a choice when there is no you to begin with.(as a separate entity).

everything that appears to be not my choice as the small self is actually my choice as the big Self.So when we identify ourselves as the whole universe everything becomes our will. It is a matter of the correct identity. Who are you who has or has no free will ?if you mean sugarcoat or PurpleTree..then that one just doesn't exist .  If you mean everything..all that is..the whole of creation then everything no matter how terrible it gets is literally your will as that .

You can speak in absolute terms if you want sure. I meant the intellectual belief of there being no free will doesn’t have to make you passive

@Someone here It’s all intellectual for me

I gave you the bottom line . No worries if you don't resonate.

I will try to water it down a lil bit :

You ask : is there a free will or not ?

Let's Literally break this done ..

Its not like there is a man called " free will " who lives in the himalayas and we are searching for him to find out whether he exists or not .

It's literally: who is it which is said to have free will or not ?

Obviously you ..right ?

Now what the fuck is this you ? If it doesn't exist then the question is obsolete..Automatically.

I understand that " identifying as the whole universe" is a bit advanced. So toss it out .

@Sugarcoat Fair enough. I feel like I'm being a someone and you are being a no one .I'm making a big deal out of it as if it is a matter of life and death and you just give me cold replies.

Take care .
