Don’t get me wrong, aesthetics is important.

But in its deeper sense, it’s not always about appearance, it’s about substance too. Ideally, I believe there should always be balance.

We, as a society, are too focused on the aesthetics of image and the physical, while we completely abandon the aesthetics of substance.

Beautiful minds, beautiful souls, beautiful thoughts, beautiful ideas, beautiful actions, beautiful dreams, they’re important too.

The beauty of the image gives a hint of the beauty of the substance. Without beautiful substance to back it up, the beautiful image loses its meaning.
