Coffee: I want the benefits but not the addiction

Hello friends! I'm not a coffee drinker, but I really like the taste, especially if combined with milk. I got interested in its good effects after I saw some videos from Michael Pollan talking about it, and I like to read his book: How Caffeine Created the Modern World. 

I want to start drinking it but not be dependent on it, my mom can't start or live a day without it, and I don't wanna be like her.

So my questions to you are:

1. How much coffee do you drink?
2. Are you addicted to it? 
3. Which is in your opinion the perfect way to take coffee regularly without being addicted to it, but still get the good benefits?

@manuel bon It's too much concerns for something as insignificant as coffee's benefits.

I mean, i can make a video too about how coffee reduces blood pressure or idk what else, it doesn't mean it will generate a virtual, significant difference in your health and life in general.

Celery juice for example is way more valuable.

Well first of all coffe increases blood pressure, it doesn't reduce it.

Second of all it might be insignificant to you, that doesn't mean that it is for everyone.

Also, that can be a small good things that along other good habits contributes to a healthy bodymind. If it's not extremely significant, it doesn't mean that it can't give benefits, or that I can't have "concerns" and ask about it on a forum.

You do what you want eheh, but you asked for our pov.

My pov is that drinking coffee for health benefice is basically useless.

It's like trying to stress someone who love peanuts with declarations like "you shouldn't eat peanuts because it contains omega 6 and it will increase prostaglandines blahblahblah".

The true question is " Did anybody significantly improve its life because of coffee polyphenols ? ", "Did anybody develop a disease and fuck its live by eating peanuts".

The fact that question itself seems quite ridiculous indicates you that, maybe, it's doesn't worth to pay attention for that if you want to reach immortality lol.

Do you use Sugar? 

Are you okay with it tasting Bitter?

For me I love coffee, but I was never addicted to it nor will be.

Yes, I did. I overindulged for about a month and developed inflammation in the knee. It got swollen where I found it difficult to even walk. I almost took my self to the emergency room because I wasn't sure what was going on. My own intuition kicked in, I took action based on the knowledge I've acquired, saw the peanuts as a probable cause because I'm aware they contain phytic and other acids and can cause inflammation. I took the necessary steps, eliminated peanuts from my diet took some black seed oil, drank lots of sour sop tea and celery juice and in no time that knee restored itself back to normal.

Also, coffee has been known to cause heart palpitations in some people, it eliminates calcium from the body through urination and contributes to weakening of the bones if consumed too regularly and is a diuretic. So don't take these foods too lightly as people are unaware that sometimes it's these unsuspecting foods and others that are causing their bodies to react negatively.

He didn't ask our pov on the drinking of coffee and if he should drink it or not, but how to drink it so as to not cause an addiction and the ways in which he can consume it safely. Not to tell him not to drink it or giving our opinions on coffee-drinking in respect to if it's worthwhile or not.

Yes but i didn't said if he should drink coffee or not, i've said he shouldn't drink coffee for supposed benefices.

But to give a response, it's better to drink a good amount on the morning (the half life is long) with a good amount of sugar and cream to prevent adrenaline spike due to hypoglycemia, and therefor hearth palpitation, tremors etc.

But it's only a small portion of population who is allergic to peanuts.

I don’t notice any effect from coffe so I have zero risk of addiction I just drink it for taste sometimes, can’t imagine how one gets addicted to it

Caffeine is a stimulant, that's why, and gives some people a dopamine hit. You're probably addicted to something right now that gives the brain a dopamine hit, and coffee isn't needed for you. For some people it's actually dope that does it. It's not the coffee perse, but the effects from the caffeine.

You’re right, it’s crazy how some feel nothing like me (I don’t drink much btw) while others feel an effect that makes them addicted, I wonder why

Yes, i meant there must be a reason why there are less allergic people in France that in USA. (twice to 3 time less, supposedly).

I've also seen somewhere that latinos have less food allergy that white peoples in USA.
