Roughly 10% of the Israeli soldiers were killed in friendly fire incindents.

Random statistic I found which is quite telling about how much worse Gaza war is than other ongoing conflicts in terms of how the population living there is affected.

Life expectancy in the Gaza Strip dropped from a pre-war average of 75.5 years to approximately 40.5 years (a decrease of about 46.3%) during the first 12 months of the conflict, according to research published in The Lancet and studies by the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research. [1, 2]

Syria

The Syrian civil war caused a severe drop in the country's average life expectancy, reducing it from roughly 75–79.5 years before the conflict to about 55.7 years at the height of the crisis in 2014

Ukraine

It has literally grown

Sudan

I could not find good statistics, some said it grew some said nothing.

I wish more analysists would mention this as it is quite telling in terms of how brutal a war is on the overall population

For example Rwanda during the genocide

Pre-Genocide (1993): Life expectancy was approximately 42.94 years

During the 1994 Rwandan genocide, life expectancy at birth in Rwanda plummeted to an average of 12.16 years (dropping to 11.41 years for men and 13.33 years for women

Cambodia during the genocide

Throughout the 1975–1979 Pol Pot regime, the metric hovered between 11 and 15 years—a sharp crash from the pre-war baseline of over 42 years in 1960

This somewhat proves that Gaza war is more similar to a genocide than a conventional war (like Ukraine) in terms of the impact it has on the population

Guy Illouz is a childhood friend of my wife.

He did die in Gaza in the “hospital” after all of his friends died in front of him in the Nova festival.

In a war, hostages worth more while alive. You state the obvious in order to manipulate people here.

It doesn’t change the fact that some hostages were executed by Hamas because IDF was about to find their location.

@Karmadhi The fact that you couldn’t find reliable information on other wars should give you a hint.

Syria Ukraine and Gaza and Rwanda and Cambodia had information

Only Sudan did not

Saying what you did is very manipulative and dishonest because you take 1/6 cases as the "norm"

The difference is that was accidental friendly fire, whereas Hamas offered to release the hostages and Israel rejected and did indiscriminate bombing and shooting knowing they’d harm their own hostages. That’s because Zionism prioritizes harming Palestinians over protecting Jews.

Yes Bibi delayed hostage deals for weeks and even months.

I wouldn't say so certainly it was exactly like that.
