Sometimes you seem to speak about God as you and sometimes you speak about God as a kind of abstraction.  I'm curious about how you reconcile this.

Well, it's both.

@Joseph Maynor What's up?

When the secret is revealed to you, you will know that you are not other than God, but that you yourself are the object of your quest.

Leo's on a weird Christianity binge right now.

I was about to say this. Wondering from where this is coming from. But actually I think Christianity is having to much leeway from so long. This Train Of Crazytianity is out of control for to long and is derailing a lot of people and even the course of human evolution to more Godlike into more Zombie Like.

I was recently in a Jehova Witness meeting. And I feel like I want to vomit. Well, i am joking, was just boring as fuck and I left in the middle before I would shout Bullshittttttt in the middle of that shit show.

I still think that suffering to keep you alive is arbitrary, if God is totally creative and powerful. God could just make you I intelligent in a way you don’t hurt yourself with no suffering. Or not create injury etc .

God’s will, and the creative decision in human experience is confusing. I acknowledge there is a creation and suffering and pleasure exist in it.

I don’t know how to reconcile the arbitrariness of existence. However, I acknowledge suffering DOES keep me alive. It is a feeling of warning and promoted avoidance or rest. It’s truly how it is and what it does and not some other way. In that I struggle with "well, God made suffering you Alive" but also made it so you could die and be injured, or be sad etc.

I don’t know why that is. But, I see how suffering is a wise signal in the way human life is, though I don’t know why.

Human intelligence is beyond just cognition. But why all the emotions, feelings, pleasure and suffering? I don’t know. It is this way. I don’t know why.

I second that, his channel is superb and I haven't found another like it for quality.

Nice! Any particular sub-topics of interest for you?

@Thought Art You are treating the issue too shallowly.

How would you know walking off a bridge is wrong if suffering did not exist?

@Leo Gura, what's your definition of "hallucination"?

Your life.

Ok, but what makes a hallucination a hallucination for you?

Do you follow the technical definition of it?

There has to be some meaning you give to the word "hallucination" so that you can apply it.

Of course I know, but it won't translate well because you lack the reference experience for it.

Defining hallucination is like defining red to a blind man.

Hallucination is, technically, Mind's manifestation of physical from.

So, for example, the color red is a hallucination.

All form is hallucinated by Cosmic Mind.

The physical world is a hallucination.

For me, a "hallucination" is totally lacking external or internal influence. Nothing outside or inside is generating it. It is self-generated.

Which totally applies to my experience.

Yes, that's basically right.

Hallucination is what dreams are. The Mind can dream whatever it desires. You experience this in your sleep.

Your life is a stable kind of dream.

One time I had a radical experience that everything was revealed as a hallucination or the other time it's a dream.

When coming back from those experiences, they become treated as other. But deconstructing my ordinary experience helps reveal its nature. E.g., no dream exists outside of the dream in my sleep, and no experience exists outside of my own in my waking life. This makes waking life and the dreams when sleeping equal in terms of existing. But using the term "dream" is more appropriate to describe both realities because it is thought of as being self-contained, even if we think that it happens in our brains.
