at some point last year she cured it and documented it on her channel.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

But also, I think some forms of it are more curable than others. They are not all equal.

The boundary can have various degrees and kinds of porosity, and for various reasons.

The majority of schizophrenia is not going to cure easily. It's a pretty serious condition. But, of course, it's worth a try.

Leo you mentioned one time you wish your mind was looser for consciousness experimentation purposes?

What would that mean practically, in comparison to schizophrenia?

Btw, that post / writing about schizophrenia was pure art. I read it first thing after waking up, while still half-asleep, and I thought I was dreaming the writing. That's how artistic / surreal it felt.

I welcome you to come see and support my latest Art Piece on Instagram. It is beautifully emotional and majestic, with its writing:

This isn't hypothetical. Mystics and spiritually talented people like Teal Swan have naturally looser default states of consciousness. That's why they become mystics. It comes naturally to them. Yet they are not schizophrenic.

So there are dysfunctional and functional versions of porosity of the boundary.

The Muhammad of the Koran is one example of such a person, if the stories are to be trusted.

@Leo Gura i've been wanting to ask something because i had a mystical experience six years ago when i was also in a very detrimental state in terms of physical and mental health. i am guessing there were dissociative and maybe even psychotic elements to the experience, but the ego death also felt very distinct and it was like i exploded or flipped inside out because my body was too weak to contain any sense of separation. i had also been consuming a lot of spiritual content in the months leading up to the experience. so i think the awakening part of it was very real, but the intersection with the dissociative/psychotic phenomena was really confusing to me then, and is still hard to make sense of now.

do you have any insights on that?

@Judy2 Sure, loss of self/awakening can also come with psychotic or schizophrenic elements. There is an endless variety of trans-human, no-self states of consciousness.

Loss of self is not some unique state. It's an entire domain of states. In fact, the self state is a tiny island amidst an Ocean of Selflessness.

You're basically describing a bad mushroom trip.

The fact that one can visualize stuff, for example, an apple out of nothing, even at a small scale with limited stability, is crazy.

I think that that ability is an indication that reality must be capable of visualizing everything however it wants.

it wasn't a negative experience. in fact it was quite blissful and orgasmic, if i may say so.

but i agree on the rest, that it's not as clear-cut and there are many different flavours to these sorts of experiences.

@Leo Gura William James said  "Our normal waking consciousness is but one special type of consciousness whilst all about it parted from it by the filmiest of screens their lie potential forms of Consciousness entirely different. We may go through life without suspecting the existence but apply the requisite stimulus and at a touch they are there in all their completeness definite types of mentality which probably somewhere have their field of application and adaptation. No amount of the universe in its totality can be final which leaves these other forms of Consciousness quite disregarded. Now to regard them as the question for they are so discontinuous with ordinary consciousness. They may determine attitudes, though they cannot furnish formulas and open a region though they fail to give a map. At any rate they forbid our premature closing of accounts with reality".  He wrote that in 1902

Man your posts on imagination is the scariest thing ive ever read.

To have no limit to what it WILL imagine.

The self wants to limit it at all cost, its the highest threat.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Based on the last posts I guess the secred substance Leo is talking about I a sort of Salvia Divinorium Compund. That is at least one plant that can lead one into insanity realization, maybe a sort of Datura or even Amanita Muscaria.

I am not talking about any particular substance. I am talking about Consciousness in general.

Substance is irrelevant. It is true under all substances and no substances.

when you realize this "normal waking life" feels like a trip on lsd

i´m constantly wondering "how the fuck all of this is happening?"

just as i type this my heart is racing, not in a bad way..

i keep wondering, if the death of the physical body is a different expression of Merging with Source then no wonder why the ego is scared as hell of dying lol
