Depends on your definition of RSS.

Really Simple Syndication.

I'd like to add it to Feedly.

Latest blog response about truth: if Falsehood must be annihilated at all costs, isn’t still true that illusion is true while you’re inside it and by definition just another part of this beautiful thing we call reality or infinity, seems too prescriptive to me.

I know education in the US is bad, but it can't be that bad, can it?

If you take regular classes and not the harder advanced ones basically it's 100x worse even.

That education is not worth a penny.

I mean you can absolutely see based on the current state of the US that we are absolutely cooked intellectually.

I agree with the AI overhype and corruption, but do you think the direct competition to make a better AI will force them to keep innovating?

People flop over to what ever AI performs better.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

That's the big unknown.

We just don't know where AI will top out. There is a chance they will stumble like an idiot into something life-changing.

They don't know what they are doing. They're just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks. Something epic could stick some day if they throw a trillion dollars at the wall.

@Leo Gura, your framing landed partially. The corporate slop prediction is already playing out. AI mediocrity, grift, ads, annoyance. Valid. But the dismissal of AGI risk based on "it won't materialize", what's the technical basis there? Genuine question.

Because the concerning behaviors don't require superintelligence, they require exactly what we have: increasingly capable systems deployed at scale with emergent properties we don't fully understand. I know you mentioned publishing an AI video soon, but could you elaborate on a nuanced middle ground, avoiding extremes, and pinpoint where the real uncertainty lies?

They have no intellectual understanding of what intelligence is or how it is made. They are just brute forcing stuff, which will not be enough.

There needs to be an actual understanding of what intelligence is.

It is sort of like trying to build a nuclear bomb just by blowing up more and more TNT. That's their current method. So I don't buy that it will work. They have convinced themselves that if they just blow up enough TNT they will succeed. I say no.

The Vow - excellent. That cult is fucken OFF THE CHAIN level of brainwashing.

LOZ: Tears of the Kingdom: I am almost done with it, been slowly enjoying it. No rush. I do actually agree with you regarding bloom. Excellent game.

Do you use a mouse and keyboard or controller? I have to admit, I love nothing more than a controller + sink into couch, dim lights gaming session. Sitting at a PC can kill it for me a bit. This could be purely because I did it for years abusing WoW.

I have an 8bitdo ultimate. It was gifted to me, but I haven't tried any other controllers with PC. Goes.

Of course controller.

Xbox controller is designed to work on PC by default. Plug and play. Yuzu emulator lets you customize any controller and any buttons. It's 100% customizable.

You just need to design your couch situation to work with your PC. Or get a comfy PC chair.

Oh yes indeed, definitely did the research and have an excellent desk chair 😃

I think it could be an psychological issue; I work at a desk most days. Could be something about my associations with that body position and needing to 'work', detracting from my ability to relax. Only I can answer this, I shall think on it.

I will stand and game over sit at the desk. Not for want of comfort either.

Humans make no sense. Stupid conditioning.

@Natasha Tori Maru How do you do PC gaming??

You need a PC gaming setup regardless of emulators. There are too many good games on PC to skip out on it.

Both.

Mostly I concentrate, unless it's a very slow game like No Mans Sky.

Desk + ergonomic chair that suits me well. Dual screen 27 inch + 32 inch curved. Mouse, keyboard and the 8bit controller.

If that's what you refer to as 'setup'. Battlestation etc

I still go ham at the PC games, it's just my preference it to plant my skinny arse on the chaise lounge (which isn't near the PC side of the apartment).

Leo I'm trying to do pranayama 36 times for 2 sits a day.

But my breathing hasn't adjusted to doing those long breaths for such a long time. So in the middle I sometimes quit.

Is it ok to reduce the amount of reps I do in 1 sit to 12 or even 10?

And can I have a couple seconds/minutes break every 10/12/24 etc pranayamas, just to catch my breath?

Also in the coming months will my lungs adjust so that they've comfortable doing 36 pranayama in a single uninterrupted set? How long does it take to do this?

@Magnanimous Breathe in a way that you are not running out of breath.

Try taking 1 normal breath between each pranayama.
