  1. I feel like environmental factors play much bigger role than we think societaly

Mainly pollution. This stuff has such invisible/not so noticeable influence on us it's really hard to pin down, but it seems to be affecting us drastically

But even without pollution, just the homes we are living. I've suffered so much simply from the fact that I was living in a room with bad ventillation for so many years. It was mainly due to the balcony, air just refused to enter my room because of it

Materials of the house also seem to play such important role. Concrete seems to be such a hazardous material for us, despite its great insulation properties. The best sleep I've ever had was living in a wooden slum for 3 days, and to me it means a lot

There is also stuff like wi-fi. Yeah, they say it's safe, but I find it hard to believe it's healthy to live in a big house with 1000s of apparments and in every appartment there is a wi-fi router and also each person has a phone that emmits signal too.... I found how I feel to improve quite a bit after I shut down my home wifi completely (I plug internet directly to the computer) and there are probably 10s and 100s like this in our modern worls we are currently not aware of

  2. Living in Russia I one time meditated really good to a point of experiencing samadhi, basically some mild mystical state. I then decided to take a walk near forest near my house basking in that state, really enjoying it and taking in fully

Then what happenned is a stumbled upon a police patrol and they assumed I am a drug addict cause I was looking too content and as they said my pupils very dilluted, hense I am under some substance. They decided to take me to the police and treated me very harshly as though I am the lowest scum on the earth. They were 100% sure I am an addict and I took something and they were 100% sure I'm gonna get jailed. They were really happy about it and were slurting insults on me.

When we arrived at a police station they lead me to an interrogation room with a really agressive looking police boss guy. They locked me with him to have "a discussion". I was super confused and fearful during it all. They said you're fearful = You're 100% doing something illegal and tried to press me hard to reveal it in all details. Completely ignoring the fact that they basically kidnapped me, treated me liek shit and assumed charges. Why should I be not fucking fearful dealing with one of the most corrupt polices in the world?

Especially since we have a rich trackrecord of cops throwing up substances to people and I was very afraid they did it as well (They surrounded me from all sides when they were arresting me). When I rightfully asked (you can ask this by law) - what are my rights? The main replied - "Well, you have no rights".

Long story short, they allowed me to call my father (and almost snatched my phone out of my hands after the call was done) and he came to be some unbiased witness of their shit. Later I decided to give them my phone and they looked through all my social media apps and chats as well as gallery and stuff. They commented - wtf, you don't even have a porn on your phone, so suspicious (Why would I even have a fucking porn on my phone in the first place, what the fuck?)

After also making me go completely naked and searching all my clothing (hopefully with some random witnesses) and founding nothing they let me go and didn't even apoligize for all their shit

I don't know, man, this all is so wrong and bad. I have a PTSD of police patrols to this day from this situation. Probably will have to confront this with some psychotherapist at this point as everytime I see policemen it gives me chills

  3. Would be amazing to hear some of your experiences with Ayurveda as well as general thoughts on this healing modality

It seems to have some very good ideas in its philosophy, yet some things seem very far-fetched, for example the dosha theory

Idk why, but for some reason I feel the negative bias in me towards Indian medicine and many things Indian in general. I guess this is because the average Indian seems to be very unhealthy and the country overall is very dirty and polluted = why trust them in regards to health?

so things that you used to find meaningful are not as meaningful any more.

Did you think there is maybe new ways to fetch a meaning\purpose on life after that?

Maybe some coral (stage red on new more conscious turning) is ought to give some insight into that?

  5. I'd love to speak to some real mystics that people revered so much and who had a great deal of powers/miracles done in their track record. I'd ask them if it's all real and would ask what is up in general

Apart from mystics, I'd probably love to meet Alexander the Great and Leonardo da Vinci to have a more intimate peek in their characters without our societies graondization of them. Woud love to see the mundane stuff in their lives and how they approached life day to day

If you go a few times as a tourist, sure. But if you are actually seriously going to church and consuming their dogma in the hope of realizing God, that can be a serious obstacle to Awakening.

It's not a matter of fear, it's a matter of avoiding distractions that will waste decades of your life.

Do you find going to new age gathering and events can give the same effect? Maybe to a much lesser degree? E.g. New age retreats and so forth

And if you're just going to meditate an hour or two per day

What if perhaps with modern technology and smart optimization around you environment it's actually possible to achieve in faster pace?

I get a sense that most ascetics in india and so forth were living in such shitty conditions (in slums and so forth) it might as well have hindered their speed by a lot? Imagine their diets also... and many other things of that nature

  8. @Leo Gura After all, did you find chakra theory to be true?

All these yogic techniques raise the energy in the body so much, no question about it

When I see some chicks who do precisely kundalini (kriya) yoga over other types of yoga they have so much more clear sexual energy and they themselves seem so horny as well off of doing it all

I could be projecting of course, but all this stuff seems so good for opening up your sexuality. And having better and more energy in general
