Great advice, I would add If you have zero friends you shouldn't be looking to get laid. Girls don't want to sleep with a lonely guy without friends.

If you don't have friends thats something you should work on first. Your problem isn't that you need to get laid. There's something very wrong with a person who doest have friends but wants them. This is critical you fix that first. Picking up girls and making guy friends is surprisingly the same. Girls like guys with friends.

Just reframe it as meeting women and it no longer sounds bad
