  1. "After real meditation worldly pleasures become unalluring, dull, entirely savourless.

What does vairagya signify? When every single object or the world kindles, as it were, the lire of renunciation, so as to make one recoil as from a shock, then there is inward and outward awakening. This, however does not mean that vairagya implies aversion or contempt for anything of the world, it simply is unacceptable, the body refuses it.

Neither dislike nor anger will arise.

When vairagya becomes a living inspiration, one begins to discriminate as to the true nature of the world, until finally, with the glowing certainty of direct perception the knowledge of its elusiveness arises.

Each and everything belonging to the world seems to burn; one cannot touch it This also is a state that may ensue at a particular time.”

  3. The Right Drishti (Perception)

    The correct bhava(inner feeling),

    which has to be cultivated

    through abhyasa (constant practice)

to proceed successfully to the goal of self knowledge was clearly enunciated by Ma at a Main Satsanga held in Dec. 1947.

The English version of suitable extracts from what was then recorded in Hindi as Ma’s words is given below:

    Ma said,

“So long as you keep your mind on worldly things there will be no end to your desire for worldly objectives.

When the mind will receive real food, then only will you get peace.

When you will get the highest treasure of God-attainment,

then only will you secure complete peace.”

“Only one Bhagavan alone is everywhere, only He, only He, only He.

The only duty of man is to give pure food to the mind..,

    where is our home?

Our true home is that of Bhagavan.

I am pretty sure Leo won't change much. I have seen a thread like this in the past and nothing much came of it.

Even thoug nothing changes in the short term, he will have this thread in the future to have some kind of direction. It can provide valuable information for him in decision making, knowing how users feel about the forum in the other side.

Also that's definitely ChatGPT who wrote that

Does that make it less worthy of consideration? If so, why?

If someone is into AI, then build a custom ActualizedGPT, feed all the content from YT into it and maybe even Leo's fourm posts and we can all chat with it.

Now that would be infinite insights.

That's a wet dream outside of the conversation. But yeah, that could be amazing to see, although intelligence is not consiousness, they are correlated in ways I'm still investigating.

  5. Dear @Leo Gura and Fellow Forum Members,

As a years long member of this community, I've spent may time in this platform and I've come to appreciate what we have here. That's why I believe it's time for us to consider some improvements to elevate our collective experience.

Our beloved forum has served us well over the years, we've all contributed to this project in one way or the other. However, in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape, it might be worthwhile to give Actualized.org a facelift. The current webpage, while functional, could benefit from a modern touch both in terms of visual design and technological features.

Here are a few suggestions that I myself came up with, feel free to post your ideas, that could enhance our forum experience :

    1. CSS and Visual Design: The aesthetics of our webpage, though nostalgic, would benefit to have a more fresh, sharp, and beautiful appearance. Talking nerdy, an updated CSS, and visual design would not only make the forum more visually appealing but also enhance user engagement. Infusing with love and care all dimensions of the forum.
    2. Functionality Upgrades: Adding new and practical functionalities would contribute to a more enriching user experience. Perhaps there could be new features or tools that cater to the evolving needs and preferences of our community. I feel we could make more useful the following feature, add maybe a liking and disliking button, notifications when someone tags you, make maybe chat groups available instead of just direct messages. Sky is the limit.
    3. Emojis and Expression: Emojis have become an integral part of online communication. Updating the emoji set to more contemporary options would add a touch of modernity, expressivity and vibrancy to our discussions. Although I would like the old emojis to stay available just for nostalgia:x
    4. Mobile Compatibility: In an era where smartphones are an everyday reality, ensuring a seamless experience for mobile users is crucial. Addressing compatibility issues and optimizing the forum for mobile devices would undoubtedly improve accessibility and user satisfaction. I mean we all have used the forum with the phone is not the cleanest experience. Maybe for a long term plan, making an App could be something to consider; depending on your vision for Actualized.org , your teachings, and the large scale impact you want to make in Humanity.
    5. Opportunity for Leo's Branding: Beyond the forum, consider extending these improvements to your Blog, the Actualized.org webpage, and the Store for the courses. This could create a more cohesive and professional online presence, benefiting both you and the community. I think it comes without saying the diverse benefits that this investiment will produce.

I believe that by collaboratively sharing the challenges we've faced and our vision for the future, we can create a vision together of what this forum could be. While these suggestions are offered with the best intentions, I understand that the ultimate decision lies with you, Leo.

I got my first strip in Jiu Jitsu a couple of months ago! It has been such an amazing experience and I can't believe more people don't talk about it in self-improvement circles.

It blows my mind how this is not common knowledge. Beyond personal bias, Martial Arts are the most efficient tool for personal growth given that you are masculine and realtively healthy.

  7. @Keryo Koffa And take it easy, there is a fine line between pushing for awakening and breakthrough vs becoming psychotic and ungrounded. from your last posts you have been dancing near that line. You can lose your mind and spiral out of control. I would have gone nuts, if someone close to me hadn't old me this. You think that by pushing and transcending you are awakening deeper and deeper, but that's just one facet of the brilliant, rich and diverse Diamond of Awakening. Explore other facets like surrendering, letting go, spaciousness, flowing, presence, silence, groundedness, peace, stillness...

Also consider going to a good physiotherapist, it helps very much to release tensions from life and the awakening path, it worked wonders for me at least.

What kind of experience can I expose myself to that will grow me the most?

I've been thinking about writing a post answering this question for a long time.

In my exploration and as unbiased as possible opinion, I'm solid to say that Martial Arts are the one activity that will grow you the most if you are a young masculine man.

I cannot express how different your body and mind will be if you give jiu-jitsu, taekwondo or boxing a serious opportunity into your life. You will have an amazing time, you will become confident, you will make amazing man friends and a great sense of healthy camaraderie in the gym, you will become comfortable in uncomfortable situations, you will become body aware and grounded, you will become powerful and non violent, you will become a warrior. It will humble you by being beaten and teach you patience and perseverance through time. So many things... If you are really interested tell me and I'll write the post

But didn't they realize they were in a dream?

As far as I know, taoist don't seem to have discovered that facet of Awakening, or at least is not popular among their tradition.

They are reluctant about making claims of what Reality actually is. In fact, I came up with a meditation technique the other day, everytime you make a statement about anything, immediately make the opposite statement. Reality is a dream, reality is not a Dream. I exist, I do not exist. I am blissfull, I am miserable. I am everything, I am nothing. I am God, I am not God. This would be the approach a taoist master would take to what you said. So yeah, I can take out the taoist hat for the moment.

    I gotta "be"

You have to be but you already are!

The "I gotta be" comes from the contraction side which you already are familia with.

You need "to be" also from the expanded side of the equation, openness & spaciousness, surrendering and efortlessly being, flowing in the already present beingness.

You may find pleasure in exploring expansive meditations like Michael Thaft. I just picked a random meditation from him:

Chinese medicine has quite the epistemic foundation.

Mantak Chia is one of the few real alive Taoist Masters.

What surprises me about Taoism is their profound realizations of the Absolute merged with a solid grounded approach to life and it's ten thousand activities, like taoist medicine.

  12. Sri Ma’s Special Directives for advanced Spiritual Aspirants

In order to advance towards Self-Realisation, it is absolutely necessary for an aspirant to yearn constantly for his sublime goal.
    He should practice sadhana regularly,
whether he feels in a mood for it or not.

To criticize people or to feel hostile towards anyone harms oneself and puts obstacles into one’s path to the Supreme.
If someone does something bad, you should feel nothing but affection and benevolence towards him or her.
Think, ‘Lord ! This is also one of Thy manifestations.’
The more kindly and friendly you can feel and behave towards everybody, the more will the way to the One – who is goodness itself – open out.

Take care not to be contented at any stage. Some aspirants have visions, others
realizations. Or, someone experiences bliss, great happiness and thinks he has himself
    become God.
On the spiritual path, before true Realisation supervenes, one may get caught in supernatural powers (vibhutis or siddhis). These constitute obstacles.

The positive proof that the aspirant is centred in God is that he ceases to hate any person or object, and that good qualities such as love, forgiveness, patience, forbearance go on increasing in him. When this change takes place in an aspirant, he will come to see that the One Brahman pervades each and every form, all sects, creeds.

An aspirant should not indulge in useless conversation or gossip, but speak only when it is really necessary, which means that he must be a man of few words.
Try and try again to reach the goal you have set before yourself. So long as Realisation does not come, you must never relax your efforts. Let this be your firm resolve.

In the quest of Self-Knowledge, Love is the crucial factor. Whether it pleases you or
not, you will have to make the Eternal your constant companion, just like a remedy that has got to be taken.
Without loving God, you will not get anywhere. Remember this all the time.
