Alcohol is an actual toxin though. People looking like death after waking up from weed could have something to do with how it affects sleep (it removes much of REM sleep), or how it causes overeating of unhealthy foods.

But isn’t REM sleep not so important anyways? Isn’t it deep sleep that you want to get lots of?

Also, would it make you overeat the next day? I just sleep after the day of.

  2. I can’t help but notice that people who do weed (and maybe even do shrooms) look much older. They have deep set wrinkles and their skin looks very tired and saggy.

I’ve smoked really strong weed a few times recently, and I noticed a line on my forehead appeared. A quick google search confirmed this.

Is doing these things going to make you age fast? Is it bad for your general health? Are shrooms the same as weed? Are shrooms a healthier option that will not damage your skin?

  3. Are there any shrooms that make you sleepy afterwards? The weed that I’ve been smoking has a relaxing effect and puts you to sleep.

I’ve been looking online and blue meanies and golden teacher apparently have energy level of 7, means that they probably should be taken during the day.

I would like something I could take in the evening.

im just curious what negative traits you presuppose religious people to have.  are you prejudiced against all religious people or is there one specific group  that inspired you to place them in the same category as narcissists?

I don’t think I presuppose the negative traits, I think religion is generally correlated with closed mindedness, moralization, lack of spiritual growth, black and white thinking, etc.

Also in my head they are in the same category as narcs because narcs in my life are religious.

The illusory perception of feeling like a self looking at the world as a person rests at the core of your depression and all problems. 0nce the source issue is gone, so is the symptom.

so the illusion is that you are a separate being in the universe? So once you stop seeing yourself as separate and universe as hostile but rather see it as loving and guiding?

  6. It seems that the more loving and forgiving you become of yourself, the more loving and forgiving you become of others.

The more you start to understand your own psychology, the more you understand why narcissist is the way they are, why religious people are the way they are, etc. You relate it to the time you were ignorant yourself about something, you start to understand ignorance.

However, what are some of the reasons you would still stay away from such people? Why wouldn’t you date a narcissist for example or a religious person? Is it again because of strong self love? Because you want to grow and growth is limited when you are around ignorant people? Because you can only give so much of your resources to such people? Or would they bring you down your conscience level?

Can someone bring you down your consciousness level? Or is it a sign then that your level was not that high to begin with?

  7. Hey all,

I wanted to get some information on which psychedelic is better for first time experience and further experiences and what is the difference.

I am looking for something that will help me release my fear, worry, anxiety, and, most importantly, help me be more self loving.

Psychedelics is putting your brain / consciousness on steroids. Instead of building physical muscles, you are becoming increasingly more conscious and aware - your "conscious muscles" starts to grow larger and larger, then it compounds overtime. Then you start to transcend deeper and deeper, each time you take a psychedelics. It basically 1000x all contemplation and spirituality work - even at microdosing levels.

But I feel like the insights don’t stay though? I even wrote some stuff down, but the handwriting was really bad.

  9. I’ve never tried psychedelics, but recently I got high a few times on strong weed.

When high, I started having realizations about my life, some situations in my life became more clear to me.

Is this why people trip? Does tripping make you see the Truth and gives you answers? Do you connect to your higher self when tripping?

    Fine, then.

    Mods? Please look into this.

You don't get away doing shit like this on my watch. Is that clear?!

Mods do you see what I mean by how women get attacked?

Although, I don’t know if this user attacks everyone like this, or is it just women.

I’ve explained already what I meant by my comment multiple times, again there is a difference between race and culture, and you can’t pretend that all cultures are equally developed.

It seems that the user wants things said exactly the way he wants and he will harass the person until they say it.

This is why women leave this forum because you’d go crazy with all these harassments and attacks (again don’t know if this user in particular targets only women or everyone who doesn’t do what he wants).

    It was a racist stereotype.

If you're unable to come up with counter-examples of individual Indian guys who aren't 'misogynistic and entitled', how am I supposed to believe your points about the culture? Definitely comes across as ignorant about the culture and lacking in just knowledge and exposure to it.

I have lots of exposure to that culture. I don’t like Indian culture for the most part and will not romanticize it to make you feel better about yourself.

That being said, I don’t like stage red/blue cultures generally.

I also have no clue what you meant with the counter example thing.

  12. @eos_nyxia What ended up happening to me is that I started worrying that all men are secretly like this. I’ve read people here (probably even Leo) saying that this is practically “locker talk”.

What ends up happening with all these isolated/socially uncalibrated people here, they don’t get any feedback from the outside world, so they think they are all so developed and great and the rest are stupid “normies” who have their priorities all messed up. And no, the forum and online friends here don’t substitute in person real life connections.

And, on average, people here are doing worse than the “normies”, financially, career wise, relationship wise, mentally, etc.

There's no reason why a twelve year old can't start a family and live on their own. The government simply doesn't want it because they want everyone "educated" and employed. It is foolish to label everyone who has power an abuser because this would include cops, teachers, parents etc. To protect the few we must not hurt or restrict the many. We must get better at detecting abuse where it actually happens.

The reason that a 12 year old cannot start a family is because it’s not physically/psychologically ready to raise children. Children brought up in such homes would struggle physically and emotionally.

The reason why cars are not rented out to people under 25 is because the data proves to be more reckless/unable to see the consequences of their reckless driving.

Cops/teachers etc go through rigorous training and are being constantly monitored by others in order not to abuse their power.
