You can start having light dinners, that way the ten days will go smoothly atleast with the dinner aspect.
Following the instructions to point actually is the key to achieving desired results. For example, for my first retreat I prepped meditating everyday focusing on my breath while forcing my breaths (kind of like Pranayam) so I actually found it difficult to focus on my bare natural breath. My second one, I found watching my stomach helped track bare natural breath for the ana pana method.
Pain is just a sensation and its temporary, it ll pass!
All the best, hope you give it your all

Looks like they are part of sect of Jainism called Svetambaras, who are primarily Naked all their life. Brave souls.
Most serious spiritual sects have Samadhi, something to be celebrated in my opinion.

If Reality was just a random mechanical accident i would not have any trust in life to be honest. What i mean by 'trusting' God is this intuitive knowing that things will always be 'good' in the big picture even if suffer or experience lots of pain.
I have been throught a lot but i always see the Wisdom behind everything. How all fits together. This soothes me sometimes when i get scared. I find that people who have faith in the way Reality works have better peace of mind.
Some other people don't share the same opinion as me.
Any thoughts?

No intoxicants is one of thier rules, if I were you, I'd try honouring their ways as much as possible for Dhamma to work for myself.
Even though you might not be "intoxicated" microsoding. Doing it sober will definitely have a better impact in our day to day life.

The main concern would be if the person can deal with the dark night of the soul on the path. So maybe you can discern people based on Maslow's hierarchy.
Explaining the dark night of the soul before sending them to retreats would do some justice and protect yourself from karma. Because going on this path can shed a lot of layers many could not even imagine. Ofcourse on the other side of the journey, the grass is way greener.
Just thinking out loud here.

I have had some weird things happen to me but not this intense, I would count my stars if I were experiencing such events even if it might be uncomfortable at the moment, a lot of people would be ecstatic to have any kind of experience. Maybe you have done spiritual work in your previous life and hence you are able to have these experiences or maybe you have some life experiences which have led you to have these.
Starting Kriya yoga would be helpful in grounding.
For now maybe you can focus on things that interests you, for example TV shows or music.
Grounding exercises would be extremely helpful, long walks in nature, classical music, practicing presence.
This too shall pass.
These are my opinions, feel free to take any of value and let go of the rest.

The layman interpretation of the double slit experiment is that reality somehow 'knows' that it's being watched and changes its behaviour accordingly, kind of like a shy person. This is misleading though, as the word 'observation' in science refers to measurement. When the light is observed, it behaves differently because to measure (or observe) the path of photons requires interaction with the photon, which affects its behaviour. This is the point of the Schrodinger's cat analogy - you can't see the state of the thing to confirm it, because the act of looking affects the system.
Imagine you're tasked with mapping out the 3-dimensional shape of a ripple on water, only the only measurement tool you have is your finger. You dip your finger in to feel the ripple, hoping to be able to feel its dimensions... only the moment your finger touches the surface, the ripple changes in response to your finger and you can no longer measure its previous state. This is the way in which the double-slit experiment is puzzling, not because of any sneaky intelligence on behalf of the light.
I feel what you are saying, observation here is referring to measurement rather than an actual observer. Thank you for clarifying this, I shall look into this a little more.

But if that’s the case, then wouldn’t God hear it anyway? Since we live in a conscious universe? This triggered the double slit experiment thought in me.
If God is omnipresent then why does the particle behave differently when there is a human observer from wave to particle. I do not have the answer to the question but this is something to ponder on.

Life could be simple, bacteria obtaining energy from minerals and replicating themselves, but creative energy competes with itself to increase in complexity. and this in humans gives rise to competition for groups, war, engine of evolution. looks like happiness of the individual is irrelevant, it submits to the creative goal, which is to create
Yeah definitely, some higher purpose to our life.

It seems extremely difficult to get to this point with a lot of dedication, This is not a simple feat to achieve though. Trying to be open minded about this but difficult right now to fathom Breatharian ways for life.

It is all about the journey, and being present in every step. Consciousness is already infinitely abundant. Why are we so anxious to return to the ultimate changeless state which created us in the first place? Instead, lucidly enjoy the character that is uniquely you, and make the most of this dream.
Consciousness imagines relative reality, to experience the thrill of the roller coaster that is life. In the vastness of the cosmos, you will never be repeated. Celebrate your singularity. Instead of hanging your happiness on some future state of enlightenment, realize the love and joy that is here and now, already within you, if you simply open your eyes and see.
Amen and Hallelujah ???

EVOLUTION
Hardships in life like survival is what pushes evolution.
for example, Do you have eyesight? congratulations, a lot of beings for millions of years have survived many hardships to have given their descendants eye sight. If you are competing, you are pushing yourself to edge for evolution.
If you had everything, evolution would be devolution, to lazy ppl pleasuring their senses.
