You seemed to think there was still a body.  I was trying to explain that there is nothing.  This right here is nothing.  There is nothing happening here.

If you believe that ultimately everything is a dream then yes you are correct ❤

This unit over here thinks it's both real and unreal so it's a dream and it's reality all happening within THIS ❤

LOL I still feel like we're saying the same thing Merry Christmas hahaha

  2. "THIS" is real and unreal everything appearing as nothing, and nothing appearing as everything!

If you go jump off a cliff you will still Splat on the Rocks, if you go and try to punch a dream bear, it may have you for breakfast.

There are apparent happenings all within THIS. ❤ there is no if taken all the way..only THIS...

THIS is whole THIS is complete there is nothing missing its Paradise the Kingdom of Heaven it's THIS..❤ The separation never occurred, nor could it have ever.

"Nothing matters" there is no purpose or meaning and there doesn't need to be, it's already perfection... only the illusory lacking separate sense of self thinks otherwise.

Free Will and choice is an illusion that is the dream of the knower.

    THIS is about Unknowing ❤

    @Inliytened1 There’s not even “consciousness”. ♥️

    @VeganAwake Or “This”. ♥️

There is apparently Consciousness and apparently conditioned human body's. Happenings within an apparent dream... formlessness appearing as form.

When THIS is used by this apparent one here, its describing everything that's left when the illusion of the separate ME is seen through. ❤

    @Nahm :)❤

@VeganAwake if taken all the way - there is only this - consciousness.  All of reality is a story - a story being imagined by consciousness.   And what is consciousness? It's nothing :) but this nothing exists.  This is You with a capital Y.  This is God.

The same thing is being repeated

haha maybe just write anonymous at the bottom of quotes from ol' Jim xD... (just kidding mods)

    Haha nice...❤

it's pretty unique to to find a teaching that doesn't take credit for itself.

Are you familiar with his work?

    Do you like it?

hmm this is off topic a bit but I wonder if Jim Newman cares if he's properly credited. If so... hmmm.. at the same time I can understand why its good to do that on a public forum.

Jim doesn't take credit for anything because he is aware there isn't a Jim inside the body.

He describes everything he talks about as a message from nobody to nobody. ❤

  6. "Non dualism points to the unknowing emptiness, appearing as what is, which is beyond experience and knowing.

The individual is real only in reference to knowing. Knowing is the currency of the individual. Experience is the currency of knowing.
This sharing undermines the veracity of the claim, that the individual is what it experiences itself to be. It explores the possibility, that what is beyond experience and beyond knowing, is what is longed for".

  7. @aklacor727  Enlightenment is simply recognizing what is already true.

There is no you inside the human body... take a look around try to find yourself in the body... where are you?

Where is this sense of ME?

Turn within and ask yourself who am I?  where am I?... is this sense of ME located in the head? Are you in the neck or shoulders? Are you in the arms or the legs the stomach or the chest? Are you in the feet or the hands ...where the heck are you?

Keep looking see if you can find yourself..

Enlightenment isn't seeking or gaining of knowledge. It's the falling away in the belief of a ME.

Nobody becomes enlightened because there is nobody in the body.

Keep looking for yourself within... you will find the answer!!!

I can possibly save you years... just try to find yourself ❤

There's nothing else to seek... just try to find yourself in your body.

    Good luck ❤

Once you are born and you don't ask questions, you die.

Only once you know the answers (go full circle) you can recognize that there is ultimately no need for questions ore better say further questions.

No need to elaborate this I believe :D.

Yes once the seeker stops seeking, the illusion of itself falls away. ❤

When it's recognized there is no meaning or purpose to anything, questions themselves dont hold as much weight anymore. ❤

  9. "The paradox is that THIS, this appearance, isn't what it appears to be. It is and it isn't. It's no-thing being something. It's emptiness appearing as everything. It's unified appearing as divided or separated.

Within this apparent paradox arises an experience. That experience is, that this appearance is happening to 'me'. That experience is not paradoxical; it feels very real. There's no space, no room, no possibility for the reality, that 'this' isn't happening to ‚me’. That experience of duality is dissatisfying. It's uncomfortable. Out of that experience arises the need to bring about a wholeness, to cover up the feeling that what is, isn't complete, to make the feeling that it's not okay - okay.

Out of that arises the need for good and bad and right and wrong. So this appearance then turns into ‚my life‘, and my life is the need to make 'this' better, 'this' good, to find out or to solve the problem of why I don't feel like it's okay, why I feel like something's wrong, why I feel like I need to seek, to find something else.

There's nothing that needs to be said. This is a response to the apparent question of the experience, that something needs to happen. The answer is: "No, there's nothing that needs to happen."

The solution or the end of the seeking isn't a finding. That need to find something is never satisfied; it never happens. If it does, it's very temporary. I find something and I'm afraid of losing it; I find something and I'm trying to hold onto it; I'm trying something and I'm trying to maintain it. It's never satisfied. The end of the seeking is the end of the seeker, is the end of the experience, that 'this' is real.

What's left is what's already obviously everything: THIS. This doesn't need anything else, this is already all there is. Whatever is happening—whatever feelings, thoughts, experiences are happening—that is the wholeness that is looked for. It's not the wholeness the individual's looking for. It's not the wholeness that the "I am" is looking for. It will always be dissatisfied with this. It's a wholeness that's beyond the personal seeking, beyond the personal need for something more or something else".

  10. There are no questions to ask, and there is nobody to ask them.

What is being looked for is THIS, and its already the case.

The ego knows that if you recognize that THIS is what it's looking for, it will no longer be needed and will be rendered useless.

The ego doesn't want to be rendered useless or deflated so it keeps you running on the hamster wheel claiming THIS is not it for your whole life.

There is no right or wrong you can choose to get off the hamster wheel or stay on and let the ego run you.

There is no purpose or meaning to anything that's just the egoic self agenda playing its tricks.

    Nothing matters..❤

Enlightenment is recognizing the separate sense of self as an illusion..

It's recognizing the mechanism that creates separation, pain and suffering and seeing completely through that illusion.

There is nothing to do or seek you are already perfect exactly where you are... THIS is already Paradise the kingdom of heaven, what is ...

Perfection is right here waiting to be recognized...❤

  11. I wouldn't describe it as transcending though...❤

It's the recognition that the thoughts and stories are not owned by anyone, they're just happenings.

There is no ME inside the body to own anything.

After Awakening things aren't taken personal anymore. The illusion of ME is clearly seen through. This recognition also untangled the sense of me from social conditioning and there was a snapping out of The Matrix.

So the feeling wasn't necessarily a transcending feeling... I would describe it more as a dispelling of ignorance where the whole game was recognized to be an illusion created by your own mind for survival purposes.

You also see and understand why others behave certain ways and it's much easier to have unconditional love for everyone because you see and understand the mechanism that causes the belief in separation, pain and suffering. ❤

@VeganAwake When you are asking these questions you realise you are asking yourself. Seeking and being burnt out are concepts of the mind.

Just celebrate the now, return to source. Everything else is a distraction.

    I wasn't asking myself anything..

The message was for the people identified with the illusory self.

How do you return to the source when you never left?

I'm just messing with ya... I get what you're saying though ❤ have a good night bud!
