Hello friends not sure if this is a relevant topic to be posted in spirituality. I am suffering from earworms. A peace of song music getting repeatedly voicing in head. I don't hear music. But in outdoors when happen to hear a song it keeps irritatingly repeating in the head. Please suggest a permanent remedy or cure for this disease. Thank you.

@Joseph Maynor @Highest I am not enlightened also if i am not sure just absence of thoughts is called being or god. But once when i didn't know what it is called i feeling or sense of me or IAM. So i was doing self enquiry and the attention touched the sense of me or i feeling. Thats the first time in my life i experienced i feeling sense of me as an experience. So from that experience i can for sure tell i feeling or sense of me is real. That i feeling or sense of me is hiding the being or conciousness. So i agree ego is real and god is a concept.

@isabel so what one must do to go deeper in realizing the truth than self enquiry?

@Dodo Thank god you came out of this shit called LOA. Universe god or what ever doesn't care whether you make money or want to die. If you want to make money take some sincere effort gain experience and do some business trade or what ever you are capable of. LOA shit is nothing more than a delusional fool sitting and believing food will come to him magically by universe with out any effort of cooking. Nothing will happen. There is nothing like LOA. @Good-boy Leo says one can have the non dual conciousness no ego experience for 1 hour with 5 meo dmt. But says ego returns after 1 hour. So 5meo dmt just gives enlightenment exp temporarily. Now in what way that temporary non dual conciousness exp helpful to a seeker?

@Aaron p Try to be concious mindful of the suffering. Be concious of it. Don't try to escape from it. It will disappear.

@FredFred You cannot kill mind. Thoughts emotions feelings are given for survival of the body. With out mind one cannot function. Thoughts emotions feelings appear and disappear from no where. Obviously they originate from brain. The experiences are stored as memory.

I know I exist in the waking state because of the waking experience which is always present till i fall asleep. 2.sense of me or i feeling 3.thoughts, sensations, feelings, emotions, external world. @Skanzi I am not enlightened but what i heard/understanding is. Enlightenment is an experience. It is the vanishing of sense of me or i feeling.It will happen conciously. I. e the Identity will be gone. Some prefers to call it ego death. Its a clear realisation that you are not the body or mind but the Infinite Awareness. The change of attitude is due to enlightenment. Not sure why winterknight prefers to call it not an experience cannot be expressed etc. No need to read any scriptures books about enlightenment they are sheer waste of time - time pass and will keep you imagining what enlightenment is etc etc Prior to enlightenment there is no need to understand what enlightenment is to attain enlightenment. Just have leap of blind faith that enlightenment is real. So what needs to be done to attain enlightenment.? Stop thinking and be still. Be a witness to your thoughts. Focus on i feeling continously. All the above said thoughts has to stop. And stay like that be still. This is what one can do or effort will go to this level. The sense of me or I feeling vanishing is not ones hand. It will happen for sure. Attend a self enquiry retreat. @Dumb Enlightened

@Shin marriage is not a neurotic physcological disease imposed by the society. Not sure why so much hatred against practical family relationship? Human beings are social animals need support of each other.

@StrangerWatch Do this experiment at night. Switch off all the lights in your room. In pitch darkness take a torch light and keep focussing the torch light for 2 minutes. Then switch off the torch light. Then share your experience who the seer or the seer and the seen are same or different.
